saved up for a special night for a birthday and whne you pay extra for a hot tub you expect it to work, but could hardly even feel the water moving at all. no extra towels, and for140.00 the food in the morning was a joke. frozen waffles, etc.and no body attending the front desk at all.
The rooms are painted vibrant colors and its actually a decent place considering the surroundings. I was skeptical at first, but pleasantly surprised.
We booked this room through Wyndam rewards since it said pets were allowed for a $10 fee. However, when I got there, the receptionist told me pets were not allowed. The person did end up letting us stay which I was thankful for. Room was nice, bed was a little hard. Also, the place that advertised in the room did not deliver there.
I had concerns about my safety along with my vehicle It was not Hotels fault it was a risky section of town. Although room appeared to be recently nicely remodeled it didn't have that cleanliness feeling. Initial desk clerk was not very friendly or helpful. It was good to see Hotel personnel making periodic walks and checking doors and hotel property.
The room was clean and fairly priced. The owner and the lady at night were extremely nice. I will stay here again when I am in town.
The service was bad, hotel owners were rude. Announced that breakfast was from 6-9 but we arrived at 8:30 and they didn't have anything and we received no help. We also left an iPad and immediately called the hotel to see if someone picked it up but they lied and said there was no iPad. We are positive we left it there but the manager and worker lied and said nothing was left. If you could call me at 2547337102 so we could talk please call me. Please have someone that speaks Spanish call me.
Choice of room colors not appealing at all. TOO bold. Advertised continental breakfast but only had cereal and coffee. Seems number of quest low based on what we saw in parking lot but don't advertise something if you are not going to provide it regardless of your numbers. Not pleased about that.
I stayed here for two days ,after a long drive i have reached this place where i'm too tired ,manager at front desk noticed that i'm tired and made all possible ways to check me in as soon as possible , it has a updated lock system ,room is cool with pleasent colors and sky background ,had perfect sleep bed is also nice ,in the morning healthy breakfast with fruits ,yogurt, waffle e.t.c which i didnot expect .finally it is a nice place to stay worth of money i spend ,i recommend this place
The Days Inn was clean and the staff great, but the washer and dryer are located outside; no designated room and too muggy to outside. In addition, the exercise room was under construction and no available alternative; maybe a small gym near by? I believe it's part of good customer service. When a hotel is supposed to have something and it is not available, then they should offer an reasonable alternative. Finally, the restroom in the front office was out of order when I arrived and my son had an accident and it was not available at that moment when I registered. I had to go to my room instead.
I will start by saying that I have been staying at this place on and off for years during business travel. Lately, everything has gone completely down hill. Especially customer service. The only thing that has gone uphill is their rates. Unjustifiably. I started by making my normal reservation last night. Everything seemed fine. I was told by the WOMAN on the phone who looked up my account that my rate would be the same, she made my reservation and took my credit card information per usual. However, she was rude and impatient over the phone. Today, I flew in to Houston. Took an $80.00 cab ride to the motel, only to be rudely told by the man who usually checks me in that I do not have a reservation. Not only that, but that I must be wrong, because he also denied having any women working there at all. Then informed me that he's changing my rate and raising it to over $100.00 per night. Now having been dropped off by the cab, I had to go sit outside and call another cab to come get me and find another hotel worth the price. Then, as I sat outside waiting, it apparently bothered them so much that I was sitting there that they sent their FEMALE manager out to ask me why I was sitting there and if I was planning on leaving! They will treat you as if you are an inconvenience to them. They will be rude to you. They will lie right to your face. They will blame you for them misplacing your reservation. They will raise your rate significantly without notice and/or reason unexpectedly. I'll be posting this on all of our travel advisor boards, as well as removing this place from the list of recommended hotels for all of our companies. Do NOT take your chances with this place.
