We really enjoyed our week stay here at this four star hotel. The staff is outstanding. Dana, Sylvia, Aike, and Adonis are special people Very helpful and accommodating. The food is very good and the beach is amazing. Ask to be in part of hotel

The hotel is quite nice, every room has a balcony though the part "with view of the sea" is not quite true, only the 3 rooms up front have that view, the others look into an alley or onto a parking. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful, though one of the waitors at the bar is fairly annoying, a bit sexist and despite him pretending to be everybodies best friend, he can get even very uncomfortable. The restaurant and bar serve nice food, but I cannot recommend the cocktails, they have a very artificial taste. The view from the bar is nice onto the beach and with a nice sunset in the evening. However, they use way too much plastic at the bar and café, even the greek cafe (basically expresso on ice) is served in plastic jars though the people are drinking it in the restaurant. Other than that, the beach is nice, the water clear and calm, so perfect for swimming or stand up paddling.

Solid breakfast. Lovely beach. Fresh beach towels were always provided. Walking distance to excellent restaurants. Friendly staff. Dana must be signaled out for special mention. She was fantastic, not only for her service but for recommending the trip to Elafonisi Beach and Rethymnon. They packed a breakfast for us on our last day when we departed early. A couple of negatives. After travelling for 15 hours we were offered a refreshment upon check in, which was nice, however if they’re going to offer you a refreshment, would’ve appreciated a drink such as a rum punch (the waitress didn’t know what that was). I received that upon check in at a true 4 star in the Caribbean. My wife was told the restaurant served octopus, but they did not have it on the menu. The balcony to our room and the room next next were connected. There was a divider on the balcony between the rooms which only served to provide privacy but did not block out the noise or odor of cigarettes. We could not use the balcony on the first few days or sleep with the door to the balcony open because the chain smoke came into our room. A few other minor things. There was no screen door, which allowed mosquitos to come in. The shower hand wand worked but the button to turn on the overhead water only held for a few seconds before it turned off. There was no exercise facility. If the above were addressed it would be an even better establishment.

We stayed for 7 nights and had a fabulous stay. The rooms are modern and clean and the food was fantastic. Most of all, the staff were genuinely friendly and cheerful which made the whole experience even better. The hotel is right on the beach and is probably the nicest out of the other hotels in that area as it's a bit smaller. Thanks again to the hotel for a memorable experience!

Overall, we had a great stay. George and Dana (the waiter and waitress) are the reason I am giving this hotel great reviews. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Dana was always so friendly, and greeted us with much kindness in the morning and days. George was very hardworking and also always greeted us. They work very hard and offered wonderful service. Our room was always kept impeccably clean. Sylvia at the reception was also delightful. The other receptionist (red head) was not as friendly, didnt always greet us and was not as accommodating. The food was very good here. Just sucks that the bar was closed after 12pm on a Friday night. Beach is beautiful and seats are provided. Our room was beautiful Thank you!

Excellent accommodation, we stayed in a maisonette room, well suited to a family stay Hotel on beach front, lovely pool area Great buffet breakfast Staff very friendly and helpful Agia Marina is a lovely resort and a short bus journey to Chania

We stayed for 11 nights. First of all Andreas, Sylvia, Giorgos, Dana & the entire team are truly STARS! We have read a lot of reviews before coming and had high expectations about the service. ALL of the expectations were met and surpassed by Elia Agia Marina professional and fun team. Andreas - is your best friend when need some advice on local activities and hidden gems in Chania area. We followed his advice and had best time! Sylvia - perfect customer service on whatever you need from taxis, room amenities/ arrangements, all practicalities regarding your stay she manages swiftly and with a stunning smile. Her responses by email even prior to our arrival were quick and helpful. Giorgos and Dana - make your day so much better with their smile, attentive attitude. Always so polite and fun. Dana’s coffee is truly the best! The entire team of this hotel is superb. Cleaning service are excellent, very quick and professional, and again cleaning ladies are so polite and nice. Rooms are new, clean and comfortable. First floor room have own parking spot. Hotel facilities are modern and have plenty of options for taking a sun or just resting. Breakfast is tasty and lots of options. Beach is clean, water not too deep, but swimming is very nice there. Great jogging along the coast, the beach stretches several kilometers both ways from the hotel. Free sun beds for hotel guests. They serve drinks on the beach. Nearby hotel are shops, pharmacies, car rentals. You will find everything essential close by. We did get he best car rent deal with the hotel too, as many ppl here mention as well. LOVED THIS PLACE! Look no further <3 I hope I can return one day :)

I have been recently spending a few days at the Elia hotel located at Agia Marina in Chania, Crete! First of all, I would like to disclose that I am a picky hotel tenant!! And my experience here was an exquisite one!! Definitely a place that I will visit again!! The room was excellent... clean and with all amenities of a modern new room!! Breakfast was sufficient combining anything from a continental breakfast with also local delicacies!! Thumbs up for the absolute professionalism of the reception employee named SYLVIA (a beautiful, calm, cordial and polite woman from Holland) and of course hats off to the operational manager ANDREAS GIANNIKAKIS!! I am so positively impressed by the resourcefulness of his!! A trait absolutely indispensable to his position, a trait which I had the opportunity to see him put into action!! I guess one could say that it is one of the situations where the job requirements met their match!! To me, solving quick and seemingly „effortless „ situations that unavoidably will come up is invaluable. Having said that, he is also a pleasant to talk to, easy going native who will share at any point useful information with his clients as he wants everyone to leave ELIA in a state of bliss!!

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel was exceptional, absolute beach front. What made this place special however was the friendly staff. Katrina, Antoni and Georgeo were there every day with a smile on their face and could not do enough to make you feel comfortable. To our surprise the food here was also excellent. A great place to stay, eat and relax. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

My sister and I stayed at this gem of a hotel in May and we will definitely be returning! The position of the hotel is very hidden from the road but it overlooks the beach and sea perfectly. It has a beautiful, if small, swimming pool and fantastic bar area. They have really comfy new beds on the beach with shade for everyone but you can move into the sun easily. Giorgio was a 1st class waiter both in the hotel and on the beach, and all of the staff were so nice it felt like they were all friends by the time we came to leave. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a boutique feel, brill aircon and a fab view of the sea. You could walk up the beach to try out lots of bars/restaurants. A 2min walk took you to the road which had lots of shops/bars/restaurants on both sides for miles - the choice for eating was exceptional and all the places we ate at delivered large meals (too big for me at times) at great prices, with brilliant service. Everyone was so friendly. If I had been a solo traveller I would have felt safe here. Keep up the great work guys and we will be back very soon.
