Excellent communication from the host, who met us in person to show the place. The fridge was stocked with drinks and a welcome cake! Everything was spotless and the balcony and view a real treat. Everything was perfect!

We really enjoyed this lovely home. It was spacious , clean, modern and the view was beautiful! It was great to be in a home with beautiful furniture and interesting artwork. Alexis, the host, did a great job giving us information about things we could do and places we could go. He was concerned about our stay and made every effort to make it nice for us, including having some treats in the refrigerator for us. since we rented a car, having a parking place was great. We found this home very convenient and could go many places on the island easily. Having a washer/dryer and 2 drying racks made it easy to do our family’s laundry. it was spacious as well appointed. We recommend this home and hope to return one day. It was quite hot during our stay and the a/c worked great.

Perfect home and location for our 10 night stay in Crete

When we visit our family in Crete, we usually rent a home. I have decided that I prefer to stay in Daratsos because of its proximity to Chania (town and the Old Harbour) as well as Agia Marina. This home, Villa Anva, was probably the best one we have stayed in so far. It sits on a hill, and you have beautiful views to the sea. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but it is just a few minutes walk down the hill to excellent cafes, two major grocery stores and restaurants. We never walked to the beaches nearby, but it is a 2 minute drive. Our daughter and her boyfriend did walk to the Old Harbour in Chania, and it was about 3 miles each way. On the walk to the Old Harbour (when it was day light), they walked on a footpath instead of the street. On the way home, they took the road back. What made this home one of the best was our very gracious host, Alexis. He had the fridge stocked with some drinks and water as well as coffee, filters, and some snacks as well as something we could eat for breakfast the next day. There was also detergent for the washing machine. The AC works very well. There are 2 balconies with the beautiful views I have mentioned. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could want to cook for your family. Because we were with family, we went out to eat most meals. The other thing I want to emphasize is that Alexis was very communicative from the very beginning to the very end of our rental process. We will definitely stay again at Villa Anva!

Blissful stay

The property looks better than the images. It was very clean and very well stocked with everything we needed with some really nice touches that went beyond our expectations. Alexios, the owner was extremely helpful, approachable and gave great advice on local restaurants. The ones we tried were very special. The location is great, it's a short walk to beaches, supermarkets and local restaurants. The walk to Chania along the coast is longer but it is lovely, if needed there is a bus stop very close buy. Chania is an absolute gem of a place and there are so many things to see and do on Crete it will take several visits or a long stay to fully appreciate it. We all agreed that we will return one day.

Eine perfekte Woche in dieser schönen Villa!

Wir haben eine herrliche Woche in Chania in dieser schönen Villa verbracht. Es war ein Traum! Die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb von Chania in der Nähe des Golden Beach. Alles war supersauber, gepflegt und sehr liebevoll vorbereitet. Wir kamen erst spät nachts an und Alexis hatte sogar etwas für unser Frühstück für uns eingekauft! Aber nicht nur deshalb war er ein sehr herzlicher, sympathischer Vermieter, der uns immer schnell auf kleine Fragen zur Umgebung oder zum Einkaufen/ Parken etc. geantwortet hat. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen! Die Fotos in der Anzeige geben alles sehr gut wieder! Auch Vlastax, mit dem wir auch während der Buchung zu tun hatten, war immer schnell mit seinen Antworten und sehr hilfsbereit. Herzliche Grüße nach Chania und hoffentlich bis bald!

Excellent Location---Close to Beaches

Alexis the property host is amazingly accommodating and helpful guide to the local area around Chania. He loves his island and it shows and the property is everything you would want in a family rental: very clean, all amenities in working order and a sunset view that is truly remarkable. The bedding is excellent and the air conditioning was outstanding since we needed it during a hot spell while we were there. (The only challenge may be in the parking situation, but even in this Alexis let us park in the small filed lot just above the property to avoid the steep driveway.). Bring the sunscreen and relax! The area also has numerous grocery stores nearby and there are many attractions close by. Thanks again to Alexis and the good people of Crete!

Villa aux superbes prestations!

Nous avons séjourné 5 jours dans la villa au mois d'août 2019. Le niveau de prestation est très bon. La villa dispose au-delà du confort que l'on peut s'attendre à trouver avec des chambres spacieuses, une literie neuve et très confortable, des espaces de vie grands, accueillants, décorés avec goût. Les différentes terrasses et coins extérieurs invitent à profiter du calme du quartier et de la superbe vue. Loin de l'agitation de La Canée, on peut néanmoins rapidement y accéder, tout comme aux différents sites à visiter (Ouest et sud Ouest de l'île). Superbe accueil du propriétaire!
