We always stay at the Hyatt when visiting friends in Thessaloniki. It is simply the best hotel! We love the spa and the indoor poor, although this time I slipped badly on the pool floor...the ceramic floor is very slippery. Apart from this minor hick up, our stay was wonderful relaxing. The staff are all very polite and helpful. The breakfast is divine! It is about 30-40min drive to the city center depending on traffic, but right next to the airport. So you need to pick whether staying inside the city makes sense or nearer the airport. We prefer the Hyatt, as it has the vibe of a resort hotel rather than a city hotel plus in the summer the outdoor pool is very refreshing. thank you Hyatt for an amazing stay. We look forward coming back.
First class service in a hotel that although in minor details shows its age still sets the standard by which others are measured. Outstanding pools gym and spa. Have been visiting for the last 15 years and hope to continue so. Did I mention the best breakfast ever ?
Great quiet resort hotel, beautiful gardens and lovely staff. Food international choices but also greek. Helpful staff including sorting out a late check out when travelled with baby. Really impressed by everyone’s kindness and helpfullness.
I have so many good things to say about our stay that I will start at the beginning A very warm personal e/m that was sent me, immediately gave me the feeling that our visit to this hotel would be one to remember The staff at the hotel were all warm friendly and helpful, they all tried to ensure that our visit would be remembered from the moment we arrived at the airport( free pick up) until the time we had to say goodbye. room was lovely, the anniversary cake was delicious and the champagne went very well with it. Everything was so good that we had to use the health club to try to shed some of the extra calories we have traveled all over the world and stayed at some of the finest hotels -but we have never stayed in a hotel where "EVERYONE" of the staff always had a smile and warm words like they do at this hotel. This hotel should be a textbook example at Harvard University of how the hospitality industry should operate
The hotel was perfect, luxury room with comfortable bed and pillows, soft cover. Breakfast was excellent, a lot kind of foods. Polite and helpful staff. I have been in too many hotels in Thessaloniki but Hyatt is the best one. If you want a quiet place, away from noisy city center, this is the choice.
Lovely hotel with nice swimming pool, food and everything you are used to expect from a Hyatt. However, location is a bit far (35 min drive, lots of traffic) from the beach, which was a bit sad. Otherwise, GREAT breakfast buffet. Also a bit isolated so need to eat at the Hotel; a bit pricey.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who has a car and/or doesn't mind staying outside Thessaloniki city. Positive: - Gorgeous garden and pool, comparable to a resort but doesn't charge resort fee - Great breakfast buffet selection - Great front desk staff as well as concierge going beyond what they needed to offer. Assisted with hotel shuttle transportation to nearby Enterprise rental location as well as arranged for a light breakfast in the hotel lobby because we had to leave before the restaurant opens. Negative: - Outside the city and hotel shuttle runs infrequent
During our visit to Thessaloniki we decided to stay at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Thessaloniki. On the second day of our stay we had a problem with the water supply. However, it was immediately clear that it was not the hotel’s fault. Nevertheless, the hotel staff did its best not only to solve the problem as soon as possible (which they did), but to also make sure that we were treated in the best way possible given the inconvenience we experienced. We were offered complimentary dinner and a very generous discount for the additional nights we decided to spend in city and at the hotel. The hotel staff was 110% committed to making sure we were very comfortable and truly looked after. The food and services / facilities are excellent and the staff is very welcoming, friendly, caring and helpful. Very pleased with the whole experience.
For a long weekend due to school holiday in Sofia, we decide to go to Thessaloniki, and we choose well-known hotels chain (HAYAT) the hotel is a standard Hayat with very friendly staff and clean rooms, unfortunately, the hotel needs a lot of maintenance, or maybe because we are in slow season, I don't know, also the breakfast is not YAYAT breakfast the one I know from the Gulf countries. Anyway it was a pleasant holiday for us
From the start excellent service. They handled a small problem I had in a very satisfactory fashion. Excellent service from all staff throughout my stay at this hotel. The food at the restaurant was very tasty. The ingredients were fresh and the fruit abundant.
