Cedar Rapids - Iowa City Vacation Packages

It is an average Motel 6. They try, and it’s cheap, but it’s going to fall short. Just know what to expect before going. The first room we were given, we walked into other people in bed. Not a good start. Next room was at least unoccupied. The room was decent. Mattress fair. Pillows ok. Tv good. The A/C worked. The toilet would not flush but we managed to fix that. There was old dry toothpaste around the sink. Toilet had been used and not flushed. The hallway carpet is disgustingly dirty. The walls dirty. Plenty of no smoking signs in sight but the hallways reeked of weed and obvious smoking. They do allow pets which is a plus. So go into it willing to look over a few things. If you just want a cheap place to spend the night this works. Just don’t expect much.

The rooms are clean & very nice. Good breakfast at the restaurant. The shuttle was very helpful.

Good location (close to major roadways and I-380), easy parking, quiet, clean, affordable, and good breakfast.

Closest hotel to the downtown area, park your car and go.

This hotel is not only beautiful but full of history! Our room was wonderful, so clean & bright. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Within walking distance of Amana shops & restaurants. Would highly recommend!!
