This resort is a little bit remote and the shop on site is very limited on what it stocks, its limits ted to drinks, snacks and some bathing suits. It would be a suggestion to also stock toiletries, shampoos, mosquitos cream, shaving products etc. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes away in a pedalcab. The pool, pool area, garden walks, and activities are all good condition, clean and very enjoyable. The staff here are amazing, polite, friendly, well dressed and nothing is to much trouble. There is amazing plants and gardens, which are kept it tip top condition. There are 2 swimming pools, both are clean and perfect temperature. The entertainment in the bar at night is really good, the second naggers ar amazing. The food is also very good, a big selection which is changed daily. Now for the negatives, all of which are minor but it would be great if the management looked into improvements in these areas. The catering staff cannot time management the cooking, on nearly every evening our dinners were brought out incorrectly, the appetisers brought out after the main course, the main courses brought out 10minutes apart meaning we ate at different times. The stock management needs to be revised, the bar ran out of San Miguel for 3 days, the restaurant run out of garlic bread for more than 3 days. I suggested popping do to the supermarket and buying, but the said its to expensive, even though it's half the price as the bar price. The breakfast service is always 10 to 15 minutes late, when it does open on time the buffet trays are empty and the omelette service starts 20mins after its open. The price of wines, beers and hotel organisation send trips are high, one 75ml bottle of cheap ros'e wine cost me 1220 peso, I can buy 3litres of the same in Gasaigno for 500 peso. The local city tour cost 7800peso for 2 people, out of which lunch was 570peso, entrance to the church was 100, fuel was a couple of hundred peso, the car and driver was probably 1500 max. Giving a very big profit to the resort. But, all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort, the positives far exceed the negatives. I would highly recommend this resort
This place is a pleasant surprise for me and my friend that we stayed here... nice European stile village resort with clean room for reasonable price and good food. Slow clap for the owners keep it up.
This resort has great value. This was my first time in Philippines and its harder to get around as there is no subway or train system and jeep is hard to use but the staff was friendly and was good with arranging our tours. Breakfast was good each morning and they have a singer at the bar each night you can have dinner poolside. Each night i got the specials which were delicious and were set at a good price. The room was nice and had a comfy bed and cold air condition.
I went there abd stay for a couple of days and was very satisfied with the price and accomodation....but of course the stay would be awesome if the followibg will improve: 1. wifi 2. car service 3. signage from the main road 4. food but over all its all a worthwhile stay.... Thanks alta vista!!!!
The most important tool u have in hospitality industry is the service because that defines what hotel you are. Try do the service that you will provide as if it is your last chance of serving the guest and also consider how valuable they are.
This is a very nice comfortable place to stay I can't say much for the food here it was ok some things were a little bit better but overall the owner super great guy the price not too bad the staff amazing the rooms very comfy I've stayed here in February to march and almost 3 weeks in May and plan to be back here in September I would highly recommend this place and again the only thing in my opinion that needs improvement is the food although breakfast is always good some of the specials were very good also
This place was amazing 😉 This was my first trip to the Philippines 🇵🇭 I was initially unsure of where to stay especially since I was traveling solo However I picked a great place a true home run Upon arrival I was met by a security person and that was comforting 👍 Then I arrived to a corridor of pretty lights and smiley faces 😃 Then I was escorted and my bags were carried to my room My room was awesome all the amenities of a classy resort 🍹 Breakfast was included however it was a very classy meal not the standard cereal and milk. But it was fresh eggs and made to order 👍 I also loved the two pools and wall climbing and ponds and decor and basketball hoop machines and pool table and so much more....😊 I even had a chance to meet the Co-Owner Larry and we had a very enjoyable conversation And he was so down to earth... The staff was also impeccable to name a few of them - Jen Jen , Zoren, Wilfred, Arnel, Mike, and Chysten... Were just a few of the many names that stood out the most- these guys always were eager to help and always were full of smiles daily. 🙂 I will be back and I love this place - I hope you give it a try... 👍 Vr Terrell M. 😇 From Northern Japan 🇯🇵
This Resort was about a 15 minute drive from the airport and had a very nice trees and plants. The staff is very friendly and helped us with a lot of questions. On the first day we did a city tour and second day was south of cebu tour so we were not in the resort for too long. On the third day we were in the resort for the full day and it was a very fun and relaxing day the kids swam in both pools and did the wall climbing. The restaurant food is really good every time we had a meal i had to give my complements to the chef. On our 4th day they had a dinner buffet that was cheap and really good. I would recommend this resort to anyone going to cebu looking for a nice place to stay.
Third time this year to stay in this wonderful resort. This time for a month stay. Staff & management are consistently friendly, helpful and outgoing. Gardens are more amazing at each visit and the nightly evening entertainment is outstanding. Perfect place to be with friends and loved ones. No more "snow birding" in Florida for me..... I will be back in December! Wish I could retire at this resort.
If you plan to stay here and expect good food, better not. The food are not even warm. The staff are not accommodating. Worst experience was during breakfast. I asked a staff to heat the soup as it has gone cold. So she approached the cook so that it can be re-heated and he asked, "Why?" Seriously? The room was okay, but there was no available telephone, and wifi sucks.
