This is the 2nd year we have stayed at Savoy and enjoyed the stay. We had a very attentive room attendant and other staff were great. The room was a Superior Deluxe which we paid to upgrade. The Junior Suites are much nicer but price was too high. The bathroom in the deluxe room has a poor layout as the door swings in and makes it difficult to move around. Next year we will try to book the jr. suite but if unavailable will look elsewhere.

It was nice a property. We had issues initially with our room cards not working in elevator and room. The beach pool was nice and there was a little private beach to visit. It was a little far to walk and the shuttle service between the hotel isn't frequent enough. One other thing we disliked is that the doors to our room was so hard to open. Even the grown adults had difficulty opening the door.

On the positive side the hotel met what we needed which was it was Conveniently close to the airport. but room wasn’t cleaned properly, carpet was dirty and the towel rack was broken. Pool smelled like urine.

I had a misguided blur guest, who came to my room and try to push and force open the door. He bashed the door some loud, it woke me, in the morning. I keep quiet and patience, looked through the cat eye hole, he was there for ten minutes or more, then he called the house keeper, house keeper tried to open the door using his key card. Unable to. Then they debated outside my door. I would have suggested to the house keeper to be more alert and advise the guest, he probably mistaken the room number, redirect him to reception to verify his room number and not debate with guests outside my room. I got impatient, I finally opened the door, shouted at both of them, to disperse the commotion. The housekeeper has no initiative or idea to handle such situations. Disappointed.
