We had a wonderful stay. The property is so convenient to all the sights of the walled city. The staff were incredibly friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, with luxury amenities. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool one afternoon which was incredible! If we find ourselves back in cartagena will definitely stay here.

This hotel was amazing. Staff was great, attentive and friendly. Rooms were phenomenal. The hotel was clean. Food was good. Everything was awesome. But, outside our room was party until late hours every night and cabs honking non stop. Bring ear plugs and you’ll love it.

The hotel was very quaint and picturest. What they didn’t tell you was how noisey your room was from all the foot traffic and people partying in the streets of the walled city area. They provided you with ear plugs so that you might sleep but it didn’t help much. Luckily l wasn’t really affected by the noise and was able to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, l would not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, but noisy part of the city

Wonderful hotel, great staff, but the “soundproof” windows were not adequate to sleep with the partying and traffic noise from the street below. Lovely central courtyard in the hotel and a rooftop pool to cool off were nice additions.

First the staff. They were stellar. Everything from the Manager handling correspondence between WhatsApp or the booking sites. Did nothing except make me feel informed. He help me get a driver to & from the airport, which was wonderful. I could’ve booked any excursion or activity through them as well. We just did her own thing. The boutique hotel is so special. The decor is fabulous. The rooms are so chic and cool. We took a small room the first night and interior room, nice and quiet and the showers. Every detail is special, Little trouble with elevator, but that’s it. We really wanted the Jacuzzi room with the balcony so we switch for the second two nights and that room was amazing. The way they took the old style of whatever the building was and transformed. It was so special. The Jacuzzi was great. They keep it halfway and fill it when you’re ready. The tiles were a little rough, but you wouldn’t expect that after so many years. Clean as could be though. The Jets didn’t work great, but it didn’t matter to us. It was more Time together. If you are in an exterior room, you will hear noise from 4 PM until 4 AM. There is some quiet moments in between while the rest of the city is eating or dancing. When you’re in the interior room, you will have nothing, light sleepers consider We end up eating two dinners at the hotel. We almost felt like we didn’t wanna go anywhere else to eat because the food was so good… just explore the city because there’s such great food there.

The staff was exceptional. Very attentive and sociable. The manager saw to everything he promised and exceeded my expectations. Excellent food… dine in, poolside or in the room. I was very impressed. Pool could use a little maintenance on the tiles but otherwise highly recommend this hotel.
