Excellent location. Great and service oriented staff. My room had limited connectivity... however it works well we were on vacation. Breakfast is Ok, vould improve in variety. Overall great experience with this hotel. Would repeat without a doubt.

Typical spanish construction adapted to a moder hotel

We were put in a tiny tiny room with no WiFi signal. They moved us the next days to a much better room. The bell boy Alex couldn’t be more helpful nor try harder. The reception staff needs improvement. Hotel is located far from the walled city itself, but a 3 usd cab is easy enough. The roof top pool lounge is very nice. Good value for the money if you don’t mind needing a quick cab ride to the more historic area.

I would not stay here again: Water in restaurant purified, but not water in room, so toothbrushes with bottled water only. Staff did not speak any English which caused many problems. No washcloths, and after I requested them, it took hours to come and they would not be replaced every day…and staff even went in one of my bags to retrieve one which is completely unacceptable. They refuse to help you book tours. When I found a tour on my own, my AM call didn’t come through because the phone wasn’t working, and I missed the tour. Told them repeatedly of hot water knob in shower wasn’t working.

I have traveled around the world, been to the best hotels and was never motivated to write a review for a hotel. For this hotel I am happy to write one. The hotel is well located within walking distance of the walled city. The hotel is well priced, has a lot of charm, with the rooms being spacious, comfortable and quiet. What makes this hotel special is the hospitality of the people that work there. During my stay, we unfortunately had a medical event with my sister needing medical care. The hotel went out of its way to help me find a clinic to take my sister and also called an ambulance on our behalf. The management of the hotel lets us know immediately that we were not alone but had their full support for whatever we needed. They accommodated us when we needed to extend our stay. The humanity of the management and staff is something I have never seen in my 35 years plus of traveling and being in the best places. If I could give Hotel Armeria a higher rating than five I woud not hesitate. What a gem!

Hotel was great, People were helpful. Pool was nice too. Great location on the edge of Getsemani. Alejandro makes great Mojitos!!!

I would not stay here again: Water in restaurant purified, but not water in room, so toothbrushes with bottled water only. Staff did not speak any English which caused many problems. No washcloths, and after I requested them, it took hours to come and they would not be replaced every day…and staff even went in one of my bags to retrieve one which is completely unacceptable. They refuse to help you book tours. When I found a tour on my own, my AM call didn’t come through because the phone wasn’t working, and I missed the tour.
