Cartagena Legends is in a walkable area. In Calle Larga you find plenty of restaurants near the hotel at literally steps away. We would dine at Macarena which was next door and it had great WiFi.

I had a good experience during my stay from the great service in the kitchen and amazing breakfast to the front desk people who were really nice and helpful. The hotel has a nice pool, my room had comfortable beds but it was a bit small, the hotel is under renovation and is centrally located.

The hostel is in a great location in the Getsemani neighborhood, walking distance to everything. I had a private room and it was spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed, a great shower and good wifi connection. Although its a hostel in a fairly busy area, and there were plenty of other guests, it was nice and quiet at night for sleeping. I really enjoyed the lemon panella juice in the lobby after wandering around all day, so refreshing! Breakfast was also delicious! Big thanks to hostel owner Julio for sitting down with me to chat about Cartagena and for giving me some great suggestions! Thanks so much!

Fantastic location for walking around town. No parking included but there is a big secure lot behind the hotel. Cost us $38,000 COP for 15 hours of parking. Max for one day is $40,000 COP. Very quiet hotel for being in the downtown area on a busy street.

0ne staff member had minimal English. So it was very tough to get information about different things. And as you would expect he doesn’t work everyday. On our first night we were put on the 2 nd floor and due to a knee issue I requested a room on the main floor. We packed our belonging and took them down to the room so the staff would not have to do our move. However we left behind our toiletries by accident. We left the hotel for a few hours and returned and I remembered I had left them behind, so I asked if they could retrieve them for me. I was told I would have to wait until morning because the staff would have picked them up and that they would get them from her. So, this person was gone until the next day and went I went asking for them again I was told she threw them away. What really bothers me is we gave her a $6.00 tip for the onconvience of us moving, she smiled big when we gave it to her. The rest of the week she would not even make eye contact with us. Bottom line she stole our toiletries, even after we were very generous with her. Another complaint the pool closes at 7:30 p.m. No refrigerator or ice machine. If they had those 2 items or even one or the other the stay would have been much better. 1 worker was lovely, she always smiled and worked hard. I don’t know her name but she always wore white cloths. So I guess the biggest complaint was the stealing, it makes me feel violated when we were so gracious and generous to her.

My favorite of the 3 hotels I stayed in on this tr

I would say great location but the area I stayed in is only 24 blocks total. If you are going to stay in the Getsmani district all hotels are close. I stayed at 3 different places on my trip. This was my favorite of all. What I liked was the price (under $60), the staff were very helpful and patient with my having limited Spanish and need to use Google translate. All three hotels had pools but this was the only one that was clean and functional all be it small. It was nice to take a dip on the 90° afternoons. This was also the only hotel with hot water in the shower. They also had cable tv with some English speaking channels although you have to search through them all to find them and all the commercials were in Spanish so you had to wait for the program to check if during a commercial break. My only complaint and a minor one at that would be the bed was a bit small. My room #9 had 3 twin beds yet I was alone. I am not much above average height but a tall person might be more concerned with the bed size. Breakfast was good and again I really liked the staff running the place. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and I would stay here again.

nettes kleines Hotel in Getsemaní, sehr zentral gelegen, man erreicht vieles zu Fuß, vor allem kurze Wege ins Nachtleben, trotzdem ist es ruhig; die Zimmer sind klein + sauber, die Ausstattung ist einfach, sehr nettes + hilfsbereites Personal, leider mussten wir nach einer Nacht das Zimmer wechseln, was sehr umständlich war, vermeiden sie das Studio für 3 Personen (enge steile Treppe mit Bett unterm heißen Dach), ansonsten kann man dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen

Excelente localização, café da manhã razoável

Excelente localização, café da manhã poderia melhorar, é bem simples, não é buffet, quem está acostumado com farto café da manhã vai estranhar, apenas um pão de forma, um prato de frutas, ovos, e suco (pelo menos é natural). O teto do quarto por ser de madeira estava bem sujo, e tinha lagartixa. Chuveiro com água quente, o que é raro por ali.
