We were offered and accepted a room upgrade $85/night for a room with a balcony overlooking the pool. That gave us 9 hours of the most atrocious “music” blasting so that sitting on the balcony was very uncomfortable! Also the bathroom floor and tile could use a good scrubbing. Was very disappointed.

We spent a lovely girls getaway for 2 nights. The Chandler's restaurant served delicious food. The on-site spa was wonderful. We highly recommend esthetician, Easton!! Other staff went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. We will definitely return in the future. An excellent experience.

Let me preface this by saying that I was aware that they had a resort fee and that you pay for parking. That being said, I still found those things very frustrating, especially the parking. They have parking on site so the fact that they charge additionally for that just chaps my ass. Another thing that I forgot to do was ask why they wouldn’t prorate the parking for the day that I arrived at 6 PM, but I forgot about it in the midst of everything else. Resort is pleasant and the pool area is nice and clean. They do a good job of making sure people don’t just park their stuff there and leave it all day. Most of the interactions with staff were good. Room was always clean and the housekeeping staff was responsive. Overall, if you can take advantage of all the amenities it’s worth it, but if you don’t get a chance to, you can feel like you wasted money. Food at the restaurant was decent if not overpriced. I also think the overpricing of the product in their little market is a little unnecessary. I understand they have to have a bit of a markup, but charging six dollars for a bag of M&Ms that cost $1.50 is a bit egregious. Overall, I wouldn’t stay there again because of the price, but it was a nice treat and I was certainly glad that we did it. It’s a good proximity to San Diego without dealing with too much of the traffic.

Great ocean view from restaurant. Ask for a second or third floor since the first floor’s view is hindered. Rooms clean but only equipped with shampoo, shower gel and lotion, no other toiletries. Despite fully paid expedia, had to pay dog fee of $75 daily and resort fee and parking fee. It adds up.

Nice location. Parking is a little walk. Restaurant/bar was great - loved the bartenders. Nice view and pool. Walk across the street to the beach. Nice perk was free bike rentals at the hotel however many of the bikes were in disrepair and not many were available for the size of hotel. Overall a nice stay.
