When breakfast was over I needed drinking water. The man cleaning the kitchen stopped his work to get me bottled water at the check in desk. He was so kind and eager to serve. Our room smelled bad. It was hard to enjoy it. The bathroom had hair in it when we arrived. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bedding lacked quality and comfort.

The person who checked me in knew a lot about the hotel and the area. It helps when the staff care about the place. He was helpful for doing laundry as well by providing me quarters. Make sure to bring detergent if you can. Otherwise it's a budget hotel that does a very good job of keeping it clean!
My stay was peaceful, the dining at the Middlesex diner was adequate for the price.
This place has always been a functional reliable place to crash in Carlisle. It is always clean and the essentials always work well. The amenities are a bit lacking. The refrigerators in the rooms are older and the one in my room was louder than the alarm clock. The Wifi was down and when it came back up it was not strong enough to reach my room consistently so I had to keep walking out to the lobby. Since I run a business, I won't be back until the Wifi is upgraded. This is still a clean and comfortable place to stay as long as you don't need to do business.
The Condition of the room are extremely poor ... it’s actually filthy and very over priced ... there’s a sign in the bathroom that states that they bring clean towels every third day so use the two you have wisely . I booked a queen size non smoking room and was assigned a smoking room when I refused I was given a very small dirty room and told this is all we have . The weekend of corvette at Carlisle will find you sleeping in your car if you don’t book in advance so i except and keep the do not disturb on the door as i had clean enough myself .extremely over priced
The second floor stank of old cigarettes, even as a designated smoking floor this is unacceptable. The carpet can not have been cleaned properly in years to get this level of odor ( think old nasty Bar ). If this was corrected I would be happy to rate this as a 2.5 star place.

The transition was smooth, the service was very kind! The room itself was clean but the hallways smelled of smoke. Carpets need replaced desperately.

The staff at the front desk weren't friendly, didn't even look us in the eye and we had to return to the desk twice to have our keys programmed to open our room. Everyone who worked there looked miserable, no smiles or greetings.
New owners at this Days Inn and they really cleaned the place up. Nice job, I would highly recommend this place. Plenty of parking and a great restaurant right next door. Yes I will be staying there again.
the breakfast was provided and very good..room was clean newly painted and newly decorated..staff was friendly and helpful...the only issue was the air conditioner didn't function which left the room warm and it was a hot night..uncomfortable- brought it to the mangements attention on checkout...didn't realize it wasn't going to get cool until too late to move...over than that will stay there again.
It seems that the new owner is trying very hard to get this old hotel updated. Our first room the air conditioner didn't work and the temp outside was in the 90's. So they changed it for another one down the left hallway. What a difference. Much better. there the only thing wrong was the shower head was broken but the promptly fixed it when we made them aware. It wasn't worth what we paid. Would I do it again...probably not. But they really tried hard so they do get some credit.
A friend and I stayed here for the Ford Nationals at Carlisle. Location-wise it was perfect, 5 miles from the fairgrounds. And the pictures online looked clean and good. We got in around 11 that night after almost 6 hours on the road and just wanted to go to bed. There wasn't anyone at the front desk when we walked in, one person was out front smoking or something and the other person was off in another room. When they did both come over neither one was welcoming/friendly. I had chosen a non smoker room but the whole place smelled like smoke, and they couldn't decide on which room to put us in because many of them weren't clean/available. The room itself was what I expected, no frills. But the toilet ran the entire night, the tub had blue/green film on the bottom, and the toilet paper holder was broken. I had booked 2 nights but took the hit and left after one. I plan on going to Carlisle every summer but won't be staying here again
