Room lacked tissues, pen, coffee. Desk chair had been repaired but still broken. Room was clean and reasonably priced.

Working hard to get this hotel back in shape doing a great job

Room was stinky. Guests were smoking in the corridors. Can't find staff for help.

For your money this place is worth it! Free breakfast and close to the city.

good for a stop in the middle of the night, very quiet.

I made my reservation for this room more than a month before I stayed there. When I arrived, the desk clerk insisted that I pay for the room again, even though I showed my reservation confirmation, which stated that it was already paid on my credit card. I gave in, in order to get the room, and then had to make phone calls and wait some time after my stay, for the second charge to be removed from my bill. This is not the first time that this has happened with this type of hotel reservation I've made, but it will be the last, as I won't use it again. And the room itself was not good, with major cleanliness issues, including a large gap under the door that allowed insects to come in.

The day of our reservations through ob which I had booked nearly 6 months in advance, the hotel called us saying they had overbooked and we were being sent to the re* *** ***. Not only was the hotel below standard but we were charged $27.00 more for our stay. Didn't get clean towels and came back to our room one evening with the door left open. Totally disgusted and will NEVER book through O****z again!!!!!!!

I was very pleased with the renovations. The rooms had fridge an microwave. The price was very reasonable but when I asked for late check out the front desk got attitude and told me no and walked away.

I AM AMERICAN ... SPEAK ENGLISH !!! ALL OF THE STAFF WERE OF FORIEGN DESCENT. IT WAS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE EMPLOYEES. THE UPKEEP OF THE HOTEL IS DISGRACEFUL AS THERE IS RUST ON THE SUPPORTS OF THE BALCONY AND IN THE OVERHEAD AT THE STAIRS. I HAVE PICTURES AND CAN SEND THEM. THERE WERE NO SUPPLIES IN THE ROOM, 1 SMALL SOAP - NO WASHCLOTHS, NO CUPS, AND SUPPLIES WERE NOT REPLENISHED THROUGHOUT THE STAY - MANY CALLS WERE MADE AND HAD TO BEG FOR PROPER SUPPLIES. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER AMERICA'S BEST VALUE INN AGAIN!

SINCE THE PROPERTY WAS RECENTLY RENOVATED,WE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. WRONG. WE HAD COCKROACH'S. THE LINOLEUM WAS ONE INCH SHORT TO MEET THE TUB ALL THE WAY DOWN.THERE WAS A PATCH UNDER THE BATHROOM SINK THAT WAS NOT FIXED. THE COCKROACH INCIDENT WAS BROUGHT TO THE MANAGERS ATTENTION & WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS NOT A COCKROACH. THE NEXT MORNING I BROUGHT TO THEM A DEAD ONE IN A CUP..THE NEXT DAY WHEN I CAME HOME I CALLED THE MANAGER & HE DENIED THE FACT THAT IT WAS A COCKROACH.

Was a stop over night during a trip home.I stayed there because of the location and price. It didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. But,that was ok.Was very friendly.Loved it being off of the road. And beside a great place to eat.

Bedding was clean but carpet filthy. Much wear and tear on hotel and little maintaince evident. Only one queen bed. Many other places around to choose from...which we will do next time.

We made reservations for 2 rooms in this motel for ourselves and a couple that we were traveling with to attend Fall Carlisle. Upon arrival we noticed that the hotel check-in area was dingy and the person at the counter seem to have some difficulty with the English language. We had reserved one room as handicapped accessible, however both rooms where on a second story with no elevator to gain access. Upon entering our room I noticed that the carpet did not look like it had been a vacuumed. My husband used the facilities, which flushed but did not refill and there was no water pressure at the sink. We phoned the front desk regarding the water situation and were told that someone would check on it. In the meantime, I observed a few stink bugs on the walls and ceilings. Therefore, I decided to check the bedding. Indeed there were a few bugs in the blankets, along with dirty, stained sheets. Tucked between the mattress and box spring we found packaging for an adult toy on one side of bed, the toy itself was on the other side. We then went to check on our friends; just outside their doorway we encountered an active wasp nest. Inside they were in the process of trying to remove 30+ stink bugs from the walls and inside the curtains. We went to the front office to inform them of the situation and request a full refund. [...] another motel patron who had over heard some of our complaints approached our truck. He told us that he had stayed in the same room in this motel for 22 years and that it had never before been so dirty. He said that he would not be returning to this motel again.

The ice machine was broken so there was "some" ice available in a cooler. Most of it was melted. Evening staff not very friendly. The bathroom was dirty, coffee maker dirty, no bathmat for the floor. Hair an dirt on the bathroom floor. Broken picnic tables. We slid into the middle of the bed because of a "hole" Pillows were very thin. Towels were scratchy and thin, and only one towel per person was provided. The clerk failed to offer directions to the room. Couldn't understand the staff over the phone because of very strong accents. Laundry room scary dirty. Staff not very knowledgable or helpful. Just not good. One staffer didn't seem to care, the night clerk did seem to want to help.

Just a room that hadn't been updated since the 70's. Damaged countertop, tile coming up cigarette burns, noisy bath fan. Bed was clean and comfortable. Half of the TV stations could not be viewed because they showed a message from Comquest said that they had been notified that a new remote was required. I will go back to the Super 8 next year, it was much nicer

It was ok and I justed needed a clean room while attending the Ford Nationals Car Show

Was very dirty in places. Steel exterior structure was very rusty. Safety chain on door was installed backwrds and the part on the door frame was ready to fall off. Icemaker was out of order. Breakfast was very minimal.

Needed a place to stay while competing in a car show; and didn't want to pay a whole lot of money like the other hotels in the area. The woman at front desk was flirty, and cute. The room was clean, with fresh towels. The bed was great. Maybe a pillow top bed with cushion over the mattress was used to make the bed so soft, which I will look into getting for home. Americas Best Value Inn is at the end of the Hotel strip, which worked out just fine because the other hotels were filled with the competition, up all night partiers – where I hung out with them and returned to my quiet room and slept great! The bad part was had no problem finding the Inn during the day for check in. At night I had a very hard time finding the Inn because their sign does not have a light. But the sign to the hotel that use to be there does have a light and can't be missed. Had to circle around / pass by maybe 5 to 7 times before I found again.

[...].the furniture was cracked, the rugs were greasy, and the entire hotel had a smell to it. we cancelled the reservation and drove around until we found someplace clean. [...]
