Liked the fact that it was just remodeled, however they didn't finish in time to remove dumpsters, which created parking problems. (spaces were to tight to begin with) Had to park away from our room and jockey cars around to be able to load and unload. Owners/managers were very nice in trying to solve the problems- BUT!
The staff was very efficient in checking me in. This was the only bright spot. The room had a musty odor, even though it was supposedly non-smoking. The shower controls were rusty and totally loose, with mold on the shower curtain and the wall. Paint was peeling over the shower and in spots in the bathroom. Overall, this is not a place I will use again.
Hotel should be condemned. Tile in bathroom was loose, floor slanted, shower fixtures were loose, toilet didn’t flush well, trim around doors was loose, tv channels were different. Furniture needs to be replaced. Outside doors paint was chipping. Whole place need repainting. WiFi not reliable
Most discussing place we have ever seen. Yellow stained sheets, a long with rodent holes in the sheets. Bath tub looked like it was never washed. Holes in doors. Hole in wall below heating unit that you could see outside light. The worst lighting I've ever experienced. All extremely dim. Breakers at sink kept popping. Stained carpets. I would not recommend this dump to anyone, other than the guests of the adult store that is next to this place. What a sleazy dump!
Did request a non smoking but got a smoking room. Extremely old place . Do they still have those old TV in any other places? I cannot recommend anyone this place.But then Price was just right. Not like one I got in Niagara Falls....
Just a ok hotel for overnight stay if you are driving. Close to highway but don't expect anything more.
The front desk employee at check in seem to be not real friendly the check out employee was very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean except for the bathroom, I have experience this in the past at other locations so I bring my own cleaning supplies to clean it to my liking. Some of the other guest got a little loud a couple of times. Overall it was a good stay at a good value.
I had planned a weekend stay in Carlisle for one of the car shows. I booked this hotel since it was close to the fairgrounds and a good price. However once I walked in the room I should have followed my instincts and turned around and left but it was late in the evening. The non-smoking room had recently been smoked in and between the smoky smell and musty smell, it was very bad. The gaps around the door were so bad I could fit my thumb between the top of the door and the door jamb. When I opened the bed up to climb in, I found an earwig bug in it. That freaked me out and I considered going to sleep in my truck, but I had the second bed so I checked that out and climbed in there. But it was too late, I could not sleep wondering what was crawling in around the poor fitting door and climbing in bed with me. I canceled my second night the next morning and moved to the Motel 8 just across town. That was much better.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the room was nothing fancy and not worth the cost - which was high due to an event in Carlisle. Otherwise it was a decent deal.
Friendly staff. I liked my visit. Breakfast was actually pretty good!
The base of the toilet leaked. There were ants and other little pests in the bathroom and sink area. The tv was NOT user friendly.
Honestly it look great place. Yes. BUT... When i order non smoking room. Right? My friends and I enter the room. Smell like smoke. IT say NON-smoking room? huh? I did check the outdoor pool. It seem not clean in the pool some of dead bugs
[...] Earwigs were found in grandchilds pack-n-play on 2nd day of stay. Hotel information states continential breakfast to be provided. Only had muffins and few bananas. Bed mattresses sagged and probably had not been changed for over 10 years. Room carpet was not very clean. Hotel Manager has agreed to comp the second night of our stay and we are expecting to receive credit to our credit card. Overall, I find it hard to believe that this hotel had a AAA rating posted by the hotel entrance. [...]

This motel is just fine if all you're looking for is a clean room to spend the night, and a clean bathroom to bathe in. Had coffee maker, fridge, microwave, TV and a safe for valuables. Would definitely stay here again. Great price, too!
The Rodeway Inn was affordable and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful when asked about local restaurants. It was also quiet. We couldn't hear people through the walls--always a plus. The continental breakfast could be better, but it sufficed.
