Great customer service and location

Really good location, customer service is excellent and the hotel is very nice. It’s a shame they charge guests for parking, which isn’t particularly cheap. But overall highly recommend

Friendly, helpful staff. If I could change anything it would be more variety on the room service menu for vegetarians. Limited choice and I’d add biscuits to the tea and coffee tray. The rooms are a nice size and the air con is pleasant and quiet.

It’s a brand new hotel so expected it to be clean. However was very impressed with how comfortable it was, amazing shower and very engaging staff. Would definitely stay again.

Superb hotel

Truly superb hotel, so much better than it looks in the photos. Excellent location just off the M4 but you hear no road noise whatsoever. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful (big up to Bethan on reception). The rooms are extremely clean and spacious with a great shower

Front desk staff - not the best experience

We arrived just after midnight following a long journey, and all we needed was to check in and get some rest. Unfortunately, there was no one at the reception desk when we arrived. After waiting a few minutes, a staff member finally showed up. The first thing he said to me was simply: “What is the name?” — no greeting, no “Good morning,” and no apology for the wait. It felt quite abrupt and unprofessional. Typically, when you're handed your room key, you're informed about breakfast times and where it's served. This didn’t happen until I asked. Instead, he immediately launched into a detailed explanation about the swimming pool — which, at that hour, I wasn’t the least bit interested in. I had to interrupt him. I’m not sure if this staff member was from the main reception team or just covering, but either way, I strongly suggest the hotel provides proper customer service training for anyone working at the front desk. First impressions matter, and this wasn’t a great one. That said, the rest of our short overnight stay was fine and without further issues.
