Just returned from a lovely stay here. Great location near to everything and despite some comments parking isn't an issued if you ignore the hotel car park and use John Lewis (£20 for 24 hours) which I don't think is too bad for city centre - it's just over the pedestrian crossing from the hotel entrance. The hotel is having external works fine but we weren't inconvenienced at all - maybe different during the week. Room for excellent- one of the best we've had anywhere, including some 5* hotels. We didn't eat in the hotel as we prefer to breakfast in cafes when staying in a city centre but we did have drinks in the bar which were excellent- recommend the surprise and delight cocktail!! So why not perfect - no biscuits in the room!! It's only a small thing but.....

Have stayed in this hotel in excess of 10 times and it's consistently good. This time was for a friends hen do in Cardiff. Efficient check in, room upgrade and superb breakfast choice on offer until 11am on Sunday which after being out the night before was very much needed. Staff are very helpful and attentive too. Great central location and also close to the train station.

I stayed in the radisson Blu at Cardiff on a Tuesday evening. It's really close to central Cardiff station and literally couldn't be closer to the bars, restaurants and shops. I had a standard double room, the room was spacious, big tv on the wall, quiet air con. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was beautiful! My view wasn't great as it was overlooking the train tracks but in the distance could make out Cardiff bay. The staff were all welcoming and couldn't do enough, particularly in the restaurant at breakfast. The breakfast was great, really good choice of cereals, fruit, breads and cooked breakfast. Good coffee too :) I'll definitely be returning to this hotel.

My parents had a great city trip to Cardiff. They got a room on one of the lower levels as requested. Great service! Beer and crisps in the room as arranged by me with a lovely card. My parents enjoyed a nice breakfast and dinner every night. Room wasnt really big or special but nice. Location was great, they loved the mallnext door. Bathroom is lovely. Staff is absolutely great with special thanks to Santa who went out of her way to make sure my parents had a great trip, thank you so much!

Radisson Blu is centrally located with good views over the city from higher floors. Took the upgraded room and was not disappointed. Room very comfortable with two TV screens and lounge area. Breakfast was good although seating was limited during peak times. Walking distance to all attractions. Walk to the harbour was a little further but I enjoyed the morning stroll. Would definitely stay again.

First time at this hotel and hope it wont be our last staff were welcoming very friendly and helpful supplying a small map and pointing out various places of interest . Room on the 13th floor over looking the railway very clean and well lit iron and ironing board in room nice touch. did not eat in hotel as a bit pricey £15.00 each for breakfast. Only one small complaint the switch for the heated towel rail is not labelled and this led to a very hot August night

I stayed just one night (work travel) and I found that the service was superb - special thanks to Angela in Reception, as she was attentive, extremely helpful and accommodating, and very pleasant to deal with - exactly the type of person a Reception needs! I also had dinner in the restaurant - and the food was delicious and excellent value for money, much better than having dinner elsewhere! Spotless clean room and very comfortable bed. I had a great experience, I certainly recommend this hotel!

Hotel is very centrally situated. Just across the street from some of the best shops and shopping malls. It is also very close, just a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Castle. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Although train lines are very near to the hotel, no noise from the trains could be heard from the hotel room. The only thing is that the bath in the bathroom was very high, and it was a bit difficult to get out of the bath at times. Beds are comfortable and everything in the room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel.

The Radisson Blu is a very good hotel. We have a super view fro our room on the top floor (20) and in business class. This means a special area for breakfast and drinks and delicious nibbles in the business area bar at night between 6-8 pm. They serve tasty bread with cheeses and cold meats. The best horseradish sauce I have had and very good house wines. The bedroom is comfortable and well lit (apart from tiny reading lights which do not work and they are going to fix). Desk, wardrobe, drawers, rather hard armchair (!) bedside tables Ensuite has bath with shower over but bath is quite high so not easy and shower is not powerful enough. Heated towel rail. It needs a more powerful shower! Anyway the only problem is there are only two lifts and not enough for the number of guests. You can wait ages to get one and yesterday on two floors were people in wheelchairs and they just could not get in with guests with suitcases. As there is refurbishment going on I hope they sort this problem out. We had the maintenance guy here to fix minor faults and they came immediately. Tea making/coffee machine in room and small fridge. . Large TV. We see right across John Lewis (opposite) to Cardiff Castle and hills beyond. You could not be more central and near to restaurants in the Mill Lane vicinity and huge St David's shopping centre. Car park is small and gets full and obviously not big enough. Tight spaces too. Wise to get there early or book a space.Excelelnt breakfast choice but haven't eaten in hotel restaurant as quite pricey and others very close by.

We had a really great stay at the Radisson in Cardiff. The staff were very friendly, especially Angela and the service was fantastic. A great room and breakfast. Our room had views over the city on the 20th floor. I would definitely stay again! Ben
