Clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Wonderful breakfast.

If you plan to park at this hotel, beware. Too few spaces, too tight parking requires you reserve by paying for a custom space with reception. People park outside of marked spaces, making maneuvering or trying to exit extremely difficult. Even with our space reservation, someone sideswiped our car. In every other way, this is an excellent hotel.

Close to town center. We read from others review that parken at the hotel was difficult so we parked at St. Davies. That worked dine.

Decent hotel close to train station and downtown. Breakfast was good and lots to choose from, but mold on bathroom ceiling and AC not working well we’re downsides.

Overall excellent stay! Great staff and wonderful location!

Hotel undergoing significant renovations. These renovations are well managed and do not interfere with comfort and convenience of stay. Rooms clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is very convenient to train station, very nice walking marketplace and many of Cardiff sites and attractions. Would definetely stay here again.

Noisy air system woke me up every night. ... Good location though

The location, especially for train travel, couldn't be beat. It was an easy walk. The location was also fantastic for shopping and not bad (even by American standards) for a walk to the castle. The staff was all very friendly. Go ahead and book the breakfast with your room. For the convenience and quality, you can't beat it. There are a lot of cold items on the buffet, and all hot foods (bacon, potatoes, eggs, porridge) are made fresh to order. Note: If you drink soda with your breakfasts, that isn't included and has a separate charge. But, there are lots of juices, milk and tea or hot chocolate included. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had just the standard double room. We didn't upgrade to the suite, but my husband and I had plenty of space. The bed, sheets and pillows all comfortable. Got great sleep. In addition to teas and coffees, we even had hot chocolate in the room. Nice treat after we'd been out in some cold, wet weather that day. The ONLY negative thing I'd say was that the food in the bar wasn't spectacular. The margherita pizza tasted like just a frozen cheese pizza. Might not have been, just tasted like it. But, we were too late to eat at the restaurant and too tired to walk elsewhere. It wasn't bad, just not really great. We did order room service the next night, and all that food was pretty good.

the whole personel were pretty good and helpful, rooms were great and clean

The Radisson Blu in Cardiff is located right at one of the major entry points to Cardiff's pedestrian friendly center. Within a few steps of the hotel is a huge selection of dining and shopping options. In my breaks from working in the generously-sized hotel room (free internet is very convenient!) I took small walks to discover the many Arcades/Gallerias of Cardiff, little marvels hiding behind inconspicuous entrances, and to get a caffeine boost.
