Jurys Inn Cardiff

Access to central cardiff superb. Solo traveller, felt very safe. Welcoming reception. Lovely single room, had everything I needed including a fridge and airconditioning. A little bit noisy at night from street noise, rooms have secondary glazing which not sufficient and door noise in hotel corridors, not work a complaint though. Am already looking for a reason to come and stay again!

Had a great time, been staying at this hotel for many many years, got to know many of the staff and would always stay here highly recommend, the dining and breakfast room is being refurbished so will be even better on our next satay, the rooms are all individual and are a good size, the jury's reward scheme is well worth being part of

Stayed for one night and wasn't disappointed with the hotel. Really big room, great shower and bed was quite comfortable. All staff were excellent and pleasant I think breakfast is a little steep at a tenner a head, so we went to Gregg's opposite and had 2 coffees and 2 breakfast rolls for under a fiver. Would we stay here again? most certainly

My experience was short for business but well worth the booking and great value for room rate, good food and central to all shops and restaurants, will always stay at this hotel on any visits to Cardiff.

Stayed here for 1 night on business. Well located - a short walk from train station, stadium and shops. I had a room on the third floor at the back and it was huge (as jury’s normally is) and beautifully quiet. The decor was lovely: calm, muted neutrals giving a really stylish touch. Gorgeous staircase and carpet with Art Deco style lighting. So much nicer than I expected! Bathroom had a great shower, bed was comfy, hairdrier powerful. Welsh cakes and apples were available with chilled water on checking in with pleasant staff despite being busy. The only real letdown was the lumpy pillows - there were 4 and none were pleasant. The tea and coffee in the room was also very basic compared to the great range of fruit and herbal teas in the breakfast room. Fix those and it could be 5 out of 5!

The Jury Inn is right smack in the center of the city. Great location. The staff is superb and their friend helpful attitude was wonderful. True professionals. One negative is the noise level coming from the nearby club "Pulse" that at times closes at 4:00 am with crowds out front and loud heavy bass driven music.

What more can I say, but that I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Cardiff. The staff are lovely, the location is second to none, and comfy beds in a nice clean room. Easy access to shops, castle, and bars and clubs

We did not find this hotel particularly luxurious for a 4 star, the room was pretty basic and missing the finishing touches. Also in future I would pay to get a breakfast elsewhere, it did the job but I'd rather pay to go somewhere else to get something that we both really enjoy. However, the location was great, staff were very friendly during check in and out and the bed was very comfortable meaning we both slept well.

The hotel is a bit shabby and needs a refurbishment. But I see that it is being refurbished. Call service to front desk was not answered. Safe in room did not lock and inspire of informing staff, there was no response from staff after they went up to have look. But excellent location.

Unusual for hotels in the centre of Cardiff, the Jury's Inn actually has its own reasonably sized car park although it can be a bit difficult finding your way through the one way streets to get there. The reception is strange in that instead of the usual counter arrangement the receptionists are sat behind individual desks which seemed to make check in and check out mush slower. The corridors are nice and wide and my room was a reasonable size but there wasnt a comfy arm chair to rest in - only a reclining chair at the desk. The wardrobe was far to small with an ironing board and iron taking up half the full height wardrobe. There was only a bedside light on one side of the bed which could be a pain if you're a couple and one side of the bed had very little access space. The bed was a good size and was very comfy and there was a good selection of pillows to choose from. The bathroom was very modern but in some aspects annoying as the sink tap had no markings to indicate which was hot & which was cold. I thought the bath was rather high to step in and out of the shower and could really have done with a grab rail to help prevent slipping when getting out of the shower. Whilst I was there the main restaurant was being refurbished so breakfast was in one of the function rooms but there was still a good selection and I look forward to going back when the main restaurant is open. The hotel is ideally situated for the theatre and shopping and there are lots of places to eat within a 5 minute walk and the main museum is also only 5-10 minutes walk away. I look forward to returning and trying a different room and the refurbished restaurant.
