Quiet and close to the beach.

This was a first floor in a quiet gated community a couple of kilometres away from Muizenberg itself. The beach was just a 5-minute walk away and had afternoon walks on the beach past the kite boarders to the colourful beach huts and Muizenberg centre. There was a local store nearby and the more general stores were about 1.5 kilometres away, bordering a township. As a 2-bedroom apartment, it was spacious, the freezer could have been bigger, and the toilet had an ablution hose. There's a communal swimming pool and the security staff were both helpful and friendly. Definitely, a place for an extended stay for the quietness, closeness to the beach and a place to relax. Ubers are easy to get, though the 22-kilometre drive into Cape Town can limit your late night returns. We'll consider staying here again.
