Shower, bathroom, closet, dresser, chair & 2 robes. No refrigerator/no elevators. Our room was held in the main house, 2nd floor. The Inn is associated with the Congress Hall across the street. We had a parking spot for our car in the lot. This cozy boutique like inn reminded me of the home I grew up in from the bathroom tiles, door knobs and the creak of the wood floor slats. Check in is located right at the lobby coffee shoppe in the man house portion. Just adorable. Despite its quaint Victorian look, the shower and amenities were bright looking and updated. The front main doors are locked at night with a code as the inn keeper is only there during the day. Late comers; check in across the street at Congress Hall. If you have multiple rooms book in other guest’s names and is checking in late, be aware that that room cannot be checked in until that party arrives. Umbrellas for guests to use in the lobby. The room was meticulously clean. We also had turn down service. The most lovely housekeepers! Ice bucket, drinking glasses and bottles of water were available in the room. Shower included shampoo/soap products. PS we had a view of the ocean in our room and it was wonderful. We sat in the covered porch a few times to chat and check out our shopping purchases. Washington outside mall and all the local stores are right down the block. The beach is one block the other way. I despise I am letting everyone know about how wonderful it is. I want to keep this gem to myself.

We were not given key code upon check in…which was at main hotel;Congress Hall. Inn door was open upon entry at 5om…but locked when we came back from dinner…forcing us to go back to Congress Hall. Girl at desk did NOT know code, and could not find manager. Took a bit to find someone who knew code for us to be able to get back into our room

Front desk was awesome, the Inn is quirky and our room was small but the view was beautiful. The only suggestion would be to fix the bathroom door so it closes easily and stays closed.

Overall the room was good. I especially liked the bathroom. Showers worked well. The location is nice because it is right across from their parent hotel, the Congress Hall. There is a nice coffee shop in the lobby and another right next door. Cape May is a friendly town. Nice walk to and along the beach. Some rooms are not completely modern, and some do not have the best views. But if you are looking for an historic and comfortable stay, the Star is a good choice.
