On the plus side this property was very quiet, parking was easy and free, and its location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Right across the street from an amazing coffee and bakery place. On the downside, the property was very run down. Elevator was scary slow, wall to wall carpeting felt very stiff (but seemed clean), exterior doors were not locked, and the jacuzzi was not working. When I mentioned that, I was told that the fact that it was not working was disclosed in my email confirmation. That turned out to be true and I had not noticed. However, the confirmation happened after I booked and paid in full with no refund. I'm sure it did not say "not working" in the room description. There was a hole right through it. I booked three months ago, which means it's been broken for a long time. Also there was a note saying not to turn the AC down below 68 or the coils will freeze. These are just two examples--three if you count the fact that the exterior doors don't lock, and four if you include the very uncomfortable mattress with thick, wrinkled plastic waterproofing--of the run down condition of the entire property. However, it was very quiet. We did not try the breakfast, but other guests seemed to enjoy it.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night. Room was very clean, large with large bathroom, Shower was huge. I am always hot and A/C is always a concern. A/C was a dream! The bed sheets were some of the best I have ever slept on (Royal Velvet) and I am looking to purchase then for our home. The only downside is that the walls are thin and we could hear the people next door very clearly. Fortunately, people tend to go to bed early so it was not an issue at all for us. We stayed in the newer building.

Beautiful hotel. Maintained very well, very friendly and accomodating staff. Close to washington street mall and various attractions but far enough away to feel quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful spacious suites, fireplace, 2 person jacuzzi in the large bathroom. Owner and staff welcoming, attentive, and helpful with local events. Tasty, filling breakfast set in a 'Downtown Abbey ' like dining area. Indoor pool, with stained glass windows, relaxing after a full day wandering historic Cape May.

Nice hotel. Within walking distance of beach and restaurants and shops.

It was so peaceful and comfortable hotel. The location was great too

Nice if you like Victorian style. However, this place could use some freshening up. Especially in the public areas. Great staff and nice location with parking, which is a plus.

After check in the first statement was make yourself at home. Our stay was very comfortable. Close to beaches shopping and historic sites

Lovely getaway. Never stayed at a B&B before and this was beyond our expectstions
