We had a fabulous time, the house was beautifully decorated and cozy.The owners were kind and curtious always at our disposal when needed.i would recommend this vacation spot retreat.so much to do around cape Canaveral, cocoa beach area.

Great place to stay!

Overall the place was amazing! We enjoyed the house, the pool and the laundry on site. The beach was a short walk away and was great to play in.

Great beach homebase but wasn’t great for us

This house is a great home base for days at the beach and touring Cocoa Beach and the surrounding areas. It has what is promised in the ad - beds, bathroom, kitchen, sitting area, and a pool. The owners were responsive when issues or questions arise. However, it wasn’t a great fit for us. The bathroom is small for a family of four. There isn’t a lot of counter space to put toiletries that is easily accessible. The bathtub is small for taking a bath but it is high for people who struggle with lifting their legs. The beds were comfortable and had extra padding for comfort. The queen bed in the main bedroom was really high and was difficult for this 5’4” person to get into. Many of the houses I have stayed in have lamps with USB chargers or a charging station in each bedroom. The bedrooms only had one plug near each bed so it made charging devices a little bit of a challenge. There is only seating for four at the kitchen table and while this worked this time, we originally were going to have five and it wouldn’t have worked. Additionally, the space is right and getting in and out of two of the seats isn’t easy. There is also only seating for four in the living room and the couch is definitely made for decor not comfort. It’s one of those bamboo couches with cushions. It was fine for short sits but not great for relaxing and movie watching. The kitchen had all of the necessary appliances and dinnerware needed. It even had kid friendly plates and bowls.

Great beach cottage

We had a great time at the beach cottage. Everything worked, parking was great and easy to use. Walking distance to the beach but driving to most restaurants. Pool was un-heated, which usually in Florida isn’t a problem, but it was really cold during our stay. I would stay again!

Great Location, amenities, beds

Steps from the beach this condo was perfect for our small family. Owners are not on site but wonderfully friendly when we had a question. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bath had everything we needed. Loved that there were two washers and dryers. Would stay again. With all the good, the furniture could use a repaint and fabric cleaning, but we loved the whole place for our stay.

Furniture update

The furniture in the living room was typical beach fare but not comfortable. As senior citizens, we would prefer more comfortable seating. Bedrooms were just fine and everything else was great.

Very clean and beautiful!

We had an amazing experience here. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The 6 of us had plenty of space in our cottage. The pool was nice. In our experience sharing the pool with the other cottages was not a problem at all. The beach is a short distance and wasn’t very crowded. Will definitely book again!

Cape Canaveral vacation

Had a great stay at this property, it was perfect for our stay. There was plenty for room for 5 people and the beach was a five minute walk away. The cottage had everything thing we needed and there was no problem checking in and had no issues while we there. Would happily stay here again if we ever choose to come back to the space coast.

Great little beach house.

Loved staying here. Kids had a great time. Close to the beach, well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer (2 sets) with soaps etc, nice pool (a bit small however), propane grill, beach toys etc. Bed wasn't great but was fine. My only real complaint would be the condition of the beach stuff. the chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc. are all worn out. We made them work but they could use replacement. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, clean and quiet :)

Bryan’s house was absolutely perfect! It was clean, well decorated, had all the necessary amenities and then some. And was so close to the beach. The neighborhood was quaint and quiet. And if we had any questions, Bryan was just a phone call away. If we head back to that area, we will definitely be staying here again.

several issues that marred my experience

First let me say the place is cute and the pictures are accurate. Sadly my disappointment started on the first day. After a 7+ hour drive, we arrived to find the cottage was dirty a d smelly..not cleaned from the previous guests. They put us up in a hotel for the night (pouring rain, 40 mph winds, 55 degrees). Once we got into the place the next afternoon, it was clean but the toilet wiggled and clunked upon use. That was repaired about 5 days later. Some days after that, a huge waterfall of water overflowed into my bathroom...a backup from the laundry room. I asked for an emergency plumber..he came 2 days later. (The nice cleaning lady DID come and clean up the mess but I had to take my wet clothes to the laundromat to finish them.). The plumber snaked the line to the street and said there were 3 very hard compacted blockages which caused the water to back up). I only had one washcloth from day one..never got more. Two lights had no bulbs..I bought replacements. So, now the place is probably not going to have the problems I had. I asked for a refund of one day and $500 for the inconvenience I experienced...I was told no. Clearly, the hotel was an OBLIGATION by the owners-NOT an equal trade for the loss of the use of a 2 bedroom cottage. On the plus side it IS 2 blocks from the beach and the neighborhood is quiet. I only met the owner one time in person and spoke once on the phone. While the demeanor of the owner was polite, she clearly does not understand the meaning of customer service.

The property was beautiful! I honestly don't think we could have got any better!

Honestly don't think we could have got much better for the price ! Definitely made you feel like you were at the beach, and the towels and sheets were amazing !! The house had everything you needed which made it much easier. The neighbors were all great as well. We got to meet Erin and Bryan, very nice people :) We hope to book agin next year !

Perfect getaway!

The description and pictures of this property are exact! The property is beautifully landscaped. The house (and kitchen) really has everything you need. We stayed for a month and cooked most nights. The neighborhood is fairly quite and we enjoyed the quick 4 min walk to the beach! I mean really, how awesome is that?! Not only was the house equipped, but the common area has all the beach supplies you need, from the beach cart, boogie boards, chairs and even a surfboard, plus 2 washers and dryers (NOT coin operated, FREE) with laundry detergent provided!!! The property is super convenient (driving) to many things, the port, Cocoa Beach pier, groceries and plenty of restaurants to choose from. I can't say enough great things about this place. Can't wait to go back. This really was our best vacation yet!

Perfect

We just spent a very happy week at Erin & Bryan's cottage with our two daughters & grandson. It couldn't have been better. Our almost 3 year old grandson loved to go in the pool every am & pm, it was a very safe private gated area for him to be outside , watering the plants & looking for lizards. The location was great, close to the beach, shops & restaurants. We loved the ice cream parlor, pizza & Mexican restaurant which are all nearby, & publix is also just a short car ride away.. The cottage is lovely, clean & well maintained, home from home.we met with Erin a couple of times, she was very helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the cottage to our friends & go again ourselves.

4 weeks of summer

My wife, dog and I enjoyed our visit to Cape Canaveral this winter. The apartment is well appointed and equipped for a couple and guests. Our dog enjoyed the fenced yard,and pool area where he could always find his choice of sun or shade. The bedding is first class. There is plenty of closet space for a winter vacation. There are plenty of towels for both the home and beach, and a no-fee washer and dryer in a common utility room, with laundry soap supplied. The apartment is on a street with one and two story homes/apartments. There was very little traffic, so it is a comfortable walk to the ocean beach only 2 and 1/2 blocks away. The landlords live in the community and stopped by to make sure we were comfortable and show us where the kitchen light switch was located. We cooked most of our dinners and found the kitchen furnished with all the tools and equipment we needed. There are a charcoal grill and a gas grill for the use of the three apartments. A large grocery store is less than 2 miles away and a farmer's market on Saturday morning is within walking distance. There are good seafood restaurants at Port Canaveral, just up the street and plenty of restaurants on A1A. I highly recommend this apartment.
