Had a very relaxing week here. Very nice, small clean resort. Staff is very friendly and very attentive. Rooms are nice. Spa is wonderful. Food is not wonderful but just not a lot of choices. Food at the pool grill is good but the restaurant is not very good. But that being said, we will definitely go back because we enjoyed everything else about the resort.

Staff was over top excellent, which food selection for dinner had more variety. Our romantic dinner was excellent and wish that type of dinner was offered more in restaurant.

The resort itself is very quiet and relaxing. We used "resort credits" for scuba diving, a very nice 50 min couples massage, and couples romantic dinner on the beach. The bed was very comfortable and we had a jetted tub with a grab view of the ocean. On the down side, the staff very rarely got our orders right. One night we ordered room service and they forgot silverware. The food was awful, all the food pairings were bizarre. Salmon spread on a blueberry bagel :( I love dessert, and there was literally NOTHING on the menu that looked good at all and we tried several over the week we were there. The only thing that was even slightly good was the cheeseburger on the room service menu Another pet peeve, the shampoo, lotion, conditioner was never replenished. We got one set. I had to request extra on day 3 and then still didn't get any till day 4

Property was very much as previous reviewers had described. Very small, intimate and quiet resort. If you are looking for a relaxing get away from the mega resorts then this is it. Room was very comfortable and housekeeping did an excellent job. Very nice pool area that was never overpopulated, you get pretty much get a lounge anywhere you wanted. As previous reviewers mentioned you get used to seeing the same people every day as it is a very small resort so we were able to get to know some really cool people. Only downside is that there is only 1 restaurant but we were always able to get something we liked. if we didn't like the menu that meal the staff we very accomodating to prepare something on request. All in all a surprisingly great experience.

Our hotel stay was PERFECT for our honeymoon. Everything was just PERFECT. the staff service amenities and everything else was just great. It was a perfect week stay here at this hotel. Will DEFINITELY stay here again.

The resort was fantastic! Quiet (no kids) Pool and beach were nice, although beach area was kind of grassy and small. You have to tour the island either by foot or taxi. Punta Sur views are incredible. Our room (220) was wonderful, clean and very comfortable, with fridge, and free liquor. We did have to ask for bottled water every day, but the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and island for a quiet, beautiful getaway!

Great staff, real good food. Great trip. Excursions, spa and extras included

From the time we got to the isla to the time we left, the staff bent over backwards to take care of you. Would not hesitate to go vack

THis place is spectacular. The staff is so friendly and helpful, they go out of their way all the time to make sure your stay is incredible and they succeeded. Beyond my wildest expectations. Very quiet but very fun. The island is so nice to spend time at and the Palace is a beautiful place to stay. THe beach, the restaurants, service, food, everything was great. I highly recommend and will go back.

This hotel is beautiful. The food is delicious, & the staff is very attentive to our every need. They award resort credit, depending on how long you stay for, which can be used for several diff activities. The Romantic Dinner, & Chef's Dinner were the most delicious meals we had, which we used some of the resort credit for. The view is beautiful, the grounds are kept clean, the pool is heated & it's the best place to spend the afternoon. Swim up bar is just perfect for afternoon refreshments. It was a quiet relaxing place to spend a week. Don't sign up for the trip to Cancun to hear the presentation. Waste of good time.

Second stay and would stay again. Staff friendly and accommodating. Island is charming. This is not a rip roaring party. If you want to relax this is your place if you want to party all night long stay in Cancun with the children.

The room was very clean. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The resort was not at all crowded. Pretty much had the pool to ourselves. Never had a problem getting a lounge chair by the pool or on the beach. There was a lot of seaweed so we stayed by the pool most of the day. We did not do any excursions. We just went to relax and that is exactly what we did! Food and drinks were wonderful! Only one restaurant, but every meal was delicious! I would definitely recommend this resort to couples looking for a romantic getaway!

If you are looking for music, dancing, night-life and young people, this is not the resort for you. It is however very clean, charming, and has great food. I wish that the website would tell us how to find transportation from the Cancun airport to the Island up front. We had to call more than once and finally found transportation. Turns out that the hotel uses TTours and their private yacht (when the yacht is running). If you take a taxi to where the golf carts are, you can rent them and drive around the island. It is beautiful.

The hotel and staff were very nice. But, the beach was a major disappointment. It was very dirty and full of seaweed. So if you are looking for a swim on the beach. You can count that out.

We had a memorable experience at Isla Mujeres Palace. The location is perfect for a romantic getaway, the staff is very friendly and professional.

Wonderful greeting with champagne- comfy room with lovely bed and jacuzzi. Very clean. Spent days lounging beside the beach, pausing only to take a dip in the pool and eat. Food delicious, though small menu, it changed nightly. Cocktails at every turn, weren't stingy with the liquor. Wonderful all-inclusive. Definitely going back. Very small- def very comfortable. Not a big beach, water seaweedy.

The hotel was clean, and the overall space was very relaxing. It was open, breezy, and quaint. The staff were nice. In general the island people are much nicer than the people in Cancun. My main complaint was that the food was not great and we ended up eating a lot outside of the hotel because downtown and around the island there are interesting restaurants and good street food. So I felt a bit guilty passing up free food at the hotel to eat in town, but there was much more in town to try than I expected and it was a good change of pace. But with that said, the drinks were flowing by the pool, and it was a short cab ride to the downtown so the hotel provided a decent base from which to explore the island. Next time, I would visit Isla Mujeres, but I might stay downtown rather than at an all inclusive. Another point worth noting, the nicest beach on the Island is Playa Norte, and the hotel's beach was small and unswimmable due to the sea weed. Beware if they invite you to a sales pitch in Cancun for the other Palace resorts, with the promise of hotel dollars to spend on activities. The deal sounded too good to be true and I overheard people in the pool who were very upset about getting invited to this sales pitch where the staff were very rude and agressive. We did not go to the sales pitch, despite the $750 in hotel cash that was offered, and we were very glad to have not wasted the day going into Cancun for it. Concerning tours, the hotel is not convenient for activities on the mainland. It is a taxi ride to port, a ferry ride, and another taxi to the cancun hotel zone in order to get on tours (i.e Chichen Itza, Tulum, etc). If you are not picky with food, and looking for a small all-inclusive place with a pool, then the Palace is ok. It is definitely better than anything you'll find in Cancun, but it is also not the only option for enjoying a week at Isla Mujeres.

My fiance and I stayed here for vacation in March and we loved every second of it! The food was good, the service was good, the beachfront area was never crowded. It was secluded and not surrounded by tourist traps. We will definitely be going back.

We can't say enough about the kindness and professionalism of the staff at this hotel. The room was probably the nicest we've stayed in at a beach facility. A Chi flat iron was provided along with the blow dryer. Very nice! The food was great - especially the dinners. Always enough lounge chairs on the beach or by the pool. The only negative would be that you couldn't really go in the water on this beach because of the sea grass. The beach at the north end is much nicer - but very crowded! So there's the trade off. Very nice stay.

Probably 3.5 Star. Downgrade on wine list. Downgrade on neighboring business (loud local bar/day resort with locals arriving on free boat ride from Cancun. Because it is on the Island with limited ferry service to Cancun, it was impossible to go into Cancun for the night life. Resort should have offered Mayan ruin tours, but did not. Dolphin encounter was first rate. Overall very nice and relaxing.
