Today Jackeline in front desk cancelled our reservation even when we had a confirmation number. She said that she cancell it because we got late in the hotel and they could not contact the travel agency or us. The hotel manager did not want to attend us and eventough i was in the front desk for 2 hours explaining that it was their mistake, they just did nothing. TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM JACKELINE IN FRONT DESK AND TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM THE MANAGER DANIEL LOPEZ WHO CAN NOT ATTEND CUSTOMERS AT 9:30 PM
We had a good overnight stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel is pretty close to downtown, about a five minute cab ride. The only problem during our stay was that our neighbors were very loud it must've been a big family next-door and around six in the morning they were yelling and making noise and we called the front desk several times and nobody ever answered.
My reservation was cancelled without notice just because they apparently could not contact booking.com about our reservation, without even trying to contact me. We arrived at 11pm and we found ourselves without accommodation, together with another couple with the same problem. The staff simply ignored us and wasn't even available to help finding a solution. We stayed in the lobby trying to solve with Booking operator for 2 hours and we have been simply ignored by the staff, that at the end refused also to give us a lift to the other hotel that we had to find by ourselves, kindly suggesting that we payed a taxi. The attitude of the staff was beyond words.
Good hotel and delicious food. In the room there is an iron and a hair dryer which is very important for me. 2 bottles of water every day, coffee in the rooms, very clean and nice rooms. There is a little fitness room, which is very comfortable to have if you need it. The bad thing is that the service in the restaurant of the hotel is very slow. You can wait 30 min for your salad. But it´s not only in this hotel, people from Campeche are really slow. And don´t expect good WiFi connection in this hotel.
I had to work here, almost lost my job, WATCT OUT THERE IS A COMPANY NAMED MOBILENET giving intenret solutions to hotels in Mexico, you will get stuck in 1985, I called the front desk, like I was talking martian with them, they had no clue, no body complains they told me, no wonder, I said, It is incredible that they offer High speed Internet , DO NOT STAY HERE
Very satisfied. Excellent location, rooms very clean, staff very friendly, breakfast was very good. Ocean view with balconies. Parking lot not large enough for the hotel. Good restaurants close to hotel, major mall nrar, Galerias Campeche Lots of historical places to visit. The best , traffic was great, no congestion.
I was early for check in and had to wait for 45 minutes which was no problem. When I entered the room I was surprised that it was very large and so CLEAN! The room had a view of the ocean which also was nice. The restaurant is also very good. The breakfast buffet is your usual Mexican food but good and the wait staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I will return to this facility next week and looking forward to it!
Good location. Private entrance to the mall and Walmart. Easy cheap taxi rides to nearby businesses/nightlife. Small pool and gym but adequate. Terrible in room coffee 😣! The absolute worst hotel coffee I've ever had. And such a shame bc this area is renowned for their coffee plantations! Luckily the mall has coffee and a food court. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful!!!!!!! Overall, I would gladly stay here again.
The holiday inn hotel in Campeche located in the "middle of nowhere" at the end of the boulevard. It is a typical holiday in so very simpel and no luxury (except for the bed). The accommodation is very noisy there are airco units outside that you can hear in the room and the walls seem like paper. You hear everything so bring earplugs. The WIFI is bad, very bad actually. My kids were sitting in the bathroom to get a bit of bandwidth. The staff is not really service minded. When I complained about the noise outside they just offered another room some rooms away at the same side of the hotel near just a bigger airco unit. Lastly I want to wriote something about the breakfast. The food is good, no doubt but it is so crowded in the breakfast area that you cannot enjoy it actually. Service in the restaurant is 100% better than at the reception but that is not that difficult. Nop more holiday inn's for me if I can avoid them.
My flight to Mexico City was cancelled and Aeromexico put me (and more than a dozen other stranded passengers) here overnight. The good: Room was clean, staff was fairly friendly, facilities were new and seemed in good condition. The annoying: Swimming pool hours were limited. If traveling on business, a 9am start time of a hotel swimming pool renders it relatively useless. They also did not really honor our meal vouchers from the airline. Not until after we were seated at breakfast were we told that all they were serving was an overpriced Mother's Day brunch and we would have to pay $138 MXN above the $140 breakfast voucher we were given by the airline in order to eat breakfast. At that point, it was too late to go anywhere else -- and there was nowhere else to go in the time we had before we had to leave for the airport. Overall, that experience and the vibe I got from the front desk was that it felt like a place that was more interested in taking our money than in providing a hospitable experience.
