Very personable hotel. Small boutique hotel. Excellent location. Decor is kind of scandanavian with mix of restoration hardware. Feels European as opposed to corporate. Great staff! Rooftop deck overlooking harbor.

Super excellent hotel with amazing art, staff and interior design. I’m so glad I invested in the great experience and memories at this place.

This was my 3rd stay at the hotel. I love it more each time. Such a refreshing change from 1) standard chain hotels and 2) typical Maine inns. Clean, fresh, vibrant interiors. Lovely bathrooms. Staff that are friendly and helpful, but not cloying. I can't wait to go back.

Modern, yet cozy and comfortable. Beautifully appointed, excellent location. Lovely breakfast...We loved it!!!

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were fantastic. The heated floors in the bathroom were a pleasant surprise and so was the tablet in the room which allowed you to play music from Pandora and had a wide selection of sounds to put on while you slept including rain, wind, a thunderstorm, etc. The king size bed was the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept on. The two huge windows in the room made for a beautiful view over part of the town and the harbor. The rooftop deck was the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and look out over Rockland and the surrounding area.

We couldn’t be happier that 250 Main was recommended to us for a stay in the Rockland area. Upon entering the stylish lobby, Nick was helpful and pleasant as he gave us some history about the boutique hotel, it’s design and the art exhibit. Nick made sure we could enjoy a glass of wine and cheese & crackers even though we arrived after the service had ended. Never have I toured each floor of a hotel just to see the art on the walls! Incredibly comfortable bed, linens and pillows, heated bathroom floors, towel warmer and large rain shower head made our stay perfect. And watching sunrise from the rooftop deck was the icing on the cake. Only sorry we had just one night there! Will definitely come back.

What a find! Stunning comfortable modern hotel. Well designed textures and features. Art Gallery walls should be seen on each of the 5 floors. Rooftop deck to relax with view of across the street harbor walking paths or the shops and restaurants down the street. Staff were terrific. Morning breakfast, 4:00 pm libations & snacks.

In the last 10 years, I've been to Rockland many times and specially in summer time, was nearly impossible to have a decent room. This time I've been delighted to a brand-new location, the 250 Main Hotel. Since the very first approach, you realize this location is different: wide reception area; furnished in a very modern European style; spacious rooms with soft and comfortable beds; very nice bathrooms and gorgeous showers.

The nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Curated regional art throughout, wonderful beds, a bathroom that inspired me to remodel my own. Georgeous building and a thoughtful staff in an idyllic little harbor town near great food.

This hotel is a refreshing hotel compared to the hotel chains. 250 Main has its own charm. The rooms are very spacious with great views of the harbor. The hotel has an excellent location. You must see the hotel to appreciate its unique charm.

My Husband and I loved this hotel. The town of Rockland, ME is very quaint and has a cute Main Street shopping area. The amenities are great (heated tile floors and towel rack in the bathroom, bath robes, huge tv on an adjustable mount, huge picture windows, free wifi and Bluetooth radio, continental breakfast, the list goes on! If you're looking for a swanky place to stay on the maine coast in a quaint New-England town, then this is your place.

Wow, thank you for sharing! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and the amenities we offer! I will pass along the kind words to Nick, we are happy to have him on our team. The art we display on each floor are actually all created by Maine artists and it's all for sale; we say "It's like sleeping in an art gallery!". You definitely can't take in all the art, design, and what Rockland has to offer, in one night- you'll have to come back soon!
