Convenient to main hi way
Clean, convenient and on the highway to Banff. Comfortable room, good price, and quiet despite being right off Hwy 1. Denny's is across the parking lot. Very agreeable stay.
Quiet hotel, friendly front desk. Bed was comfy, sheets crisp and clean. Breakfast was lacklustre but included - regular cereal, OJ and bread products. I like the location, there's a Denny's in the parking lot and a the Banff Trail C-Trail is about a block away. Very central but not downtown.
Very courteous and friendly staff start to finish. Great location yet quiet and easy access. Fairly new remodel, very clean, simple wifi and great selection on TV channels. Canada tends to be expensive on basic hotels so shopping around this was indeed the best. Some others nearby are run down. Highly recommend for a quick stay with ample continental breakfast. A+
My second time at this motel and I think is Ok. Personnel very friendly. Clean room. I'll go back when I need a place for a night in Calgary.
The hotel is showing it's age, but it was very clean due to the efforts of it's hard working & friendly staff.
its was far away form the city and not good view . it is abuget hootel good for spend the night on the way.
I had one night at Calgary and was looking for something that's close to the airport and not too pricey. Econo Lodge Motel Village was a good choice for the amount of money I paid. The room I got was very big with a double queen size bed. The water ran rather slowly down to the sink but it didn't bother me that much. The drive to the airport was around 15 minutes which was what I was looking for! I was glad to book it the night before my stay because when I arrived (which was at around 8pm), they were completely booked out.
Hotel was clean but carpets etc were old. Rooms could use a bit of a face lift
We booked this motel with points, then called to confirm we could get a dog friendly room. After driving 13 hours we arrived, only to be told our dog was too big and they wouldn’t give us the room. At the time we called, they did not indicate any size restrictions. The staff member said no dogs over 60 pounds, took a look at our dog and decided it was too big (no idea how you can tell a dogs weight by looking at it). The staff shared their dog policy which did not indicate a weight limit, it only said that small pets were preferred. When we pointed this out the staff member dug his heels in. It was 10 o clock at night, after driving all day we decided to go somewhere else, as they couldn’t even get a manager on the phone for us. Will never book with econolodge again, the best western beside luckily was welcoming and even offered us a discounted rate when they heard our story.
