While the hotel was clean and the room itself was fine, I was extremely frustrated to find out upon check-in that the pool and exercise room had been closed for months for renovations — something that was never communicated during booking or in any confirmation emails. We travelled from out of province and specifically chose this hotel because it advertised a pool, which was important for our stay. Had we known in advance, we likely would have booked elsewhere. For the amount of money spent to travel to Calgary, it was incredibly disappointing to be misled about the amenities. A simple notice or update would have made a big difference.

We were told by Expedia that this hotel had a pool. We chose this hotel specifically because it had a pool. The pool has been down for months and Expedia hasn’t updated their records. Very disappointed in Expedia. Hotel staff were great and outgoing. The room was very clean. The air conditioning units couldn’t keep up with the heat as it was 30 degrees outside.
