Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary Downtown

Staff were always polite and even organized a locksmith when I locked my keys in the van...the room wasn't very big but they had a decent size flatscreen and the room was clean. Though some of the hotel is becoming dated it was always clean and the staff definitely made it worth the $$.

Staff friendly and helpful! Room clean and adequate. Just a heads up...there is an additional $20 per night charge for parking. Valet parking is $28 per night. I made use of valet parking because it was more convenient for me.

Overall hotel facilities are above average. However, staff does not really know how to keep it quieted on a Sunday morning. Also, if you don't want to be bothered by street noise, increase your chances by asking for a room facing north.

It was pouring rain when we arrived, so we really appreciated the covered entrance and the underground parking. Our room on the 15th floor had a lovely view of the Bow River and the green hills rising from the Centre Street Bridge. It was the perfect location to watch a prairie thunderstorm.

Good location in calgary downton but during weekends everything near is quite closed.

I've stayed here a few times and its a nice place. The bar downstairs seems to be pretty busy after working hours and generally helps promote a good relaxing evening. Staff is nice.

The Delta Bow Valley hotel is perfectly located. It is a very comfortable hotel, clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was good and clean, but it's getting a bit outdated. Reception was friendly but slow. Good luck finding some after midnight snacks in Calgary but the hotel has one vending machine. I got a fantastic rate when I booked the room. Regular prices are too high.

I wish I could afford to stay here without the package deal I had. I was given a "Pure" suite, which was completely hypoallergenic. Wonderful bed, comfortable suite, and the sheets felt soooo wonderful. Restaurant was pricey, and the menu was fairly limited. My salmon wasn't cooked, and when I sent it back I was offered a free dessert. (I don't eat dessert).I would go back if I could get another deal.

Perfect for a short stay, rooms could be a little bigger but it's perfect for a short stay and the price is good.

All the Hotels in heart of town are over $200 a night. This was about $250 with tax and parking included. But good Hotel and right in heart of city.

Although it was old, it was a good hotel with supportive staff.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The room was excellent...in-house restaurant serves quality food. The head chef during dinner, came to each dinner table and introduced himself. He took a lot of his time to explain to me about Alberta's pride in their meat industry. In all honesty, the prime rib was the best that I have ever had. I would not hesitate recommending the Delta Bow Valley to friends or relatives visiting Calgary.

Excellent for a quick in and out business trip. Only a couple of block from a very large selection of good restaurants (heavy on Alberta beef) and this is good since the hotel restaurant is only ok.

The transition from the parking area, under the hotel, was not pleasing, elevator and entry area were dirty, parking was expensive. Employees were helpful, location was good, hotel seemed a little aged.
