We loved our stay at the Blind Tiger!
From the moment we arrived, our experience was lovely. Our host Katrina was warm and welcoming. She gave us a tour of the common areas, which includes a den with couches and games, a 24-hour self-serve coffee, tea, and snack bar (with fresh-baked brownies and cookies!), a solarium full of beautiful plants and lots of seating, and the dining room (where breakfast is served).
Blind Tiger is conveniently close to the waterfront and Church Street, so we opted to walk to downtown rather than drive most of the time. I recommend the walk. The view over Lake Champlain is beautiful.
We stayed on the third floor in "Mikey's Hideout." It was a spacious suite with a living room, bathroom with clawfoot tub and walk-in shower, and separate bedroom with ample closet space.
Each morning there was a large "Toast Bar" in the dining room. It really was a highlight for me. Breads, bagels, fresh muffins, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and more! Katrina pointed out several locally procured items like yogurt, honey, and jam.
We didn't get to wander the yard during our visit, but it looked lovely from the balcony outside of the solarium.
