When checking in there was a note on the door to call for assistance. I called and the voice asked if I had a reservation, I replied that I did, for 2 rooms. The voice said they would be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I called and the voice said they were just getting out of the shower and they would be there shortly. 40 minutes later the call went unanswered. At 50 minutes, the receptionist finally showed up from, what turned out to be, the apartment above the office to handle the 5 minute check-in. The excuse given - though unasked for - was that they were the only employee at the property. To be fair, the rooms were clean and of the quality one would expect for this type of property. Making one wait for 50 minutes in the cold for a 5 minute transaction is inexcusable.

It was good for the price.

I kinda liked that it was unintendedly retro bc reminds me of trips with mom & dad 50 yrs ago. I was surprised it got a good rating bc was missing some obvious things like mini frig, microwave & breakfast to go. The bathroom was in bad need of an update, but the 2 things that caused me the most problems were lack of working ice machine & fairly big insect on my pillow. In general, I think motel needs a thorough extermination

Austere but vey clean. Next door to ok restaurant. Free breakfast was freshly cooked omelettes at the restaurant .. Excellent. TV below standard tube .. Non HD type. Could up date TVs very cheaply. Across street from winery where you can taste 5 different wines for $6. Very elegant place all decorated for holidays This is a good one night stay very close to interstate

On my first night in Colorado I stayed in Stratton, Colorado. The room was well furnished with a large comfortable king size bed and cable television. The attached restaurant across from the motel office served a good chicken fried steak.

The room was nice clean and had alotof space. The cleaning staff needs to do better at keeping rooms supplied with necessary supplies.

A bit overpriced but quiet and clean.
