Great Experience

Older motel but maintained nicely. The room was big in comparison to newer hotels and the convenience of pulling up to the door for unloading was awesome. The motel grounds were very nice and maintained by a caring hand. We stayed at numerous places on this one trip alone, all newer hotels and my daughter said this was her favorite. I enjoyed the fact it was also the lowest price of the 10 day trip.

Unfortunate this isn’t really a dog friendly place. There are literally zero grassy areas on the property (or around the property) where dogs are allowed so that was a real let down and the pool appeared to be closed although I didn’t ask. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly however there was a mix up with the rooms and he assigned another family our room. Luckily I was outside when they were starting to open the door. The room was clean and beds were comfortable enough. There wasn’t any breakfasts that I could see and when I went to drop off my key, the office was empty besides a dog that came around the desk growling at me, thankfully dogs don’t scare me. It really was a lovely property, but with an unfortunate mix up with the rooms. I wouldn’t have booked it if I would have known there was nowhere for my doggo to play. I won’t book again. Seemed lovely for the elderly guests which seemed to be the mapper from what I could see.

Keep on driving

About what you’d expect for a road side motel, definitely not the worst place I’ve ever stayed but the experience was no where near a 3+ Star Hotel…felt old and outdated.

Gross but friendly

The room smelled very strongly of urine. The hotel says they’re dog friendly, but all grass has signs that say “no pets”. Staff was friendly but checkin was very slow.

We stayed here nine years ago, and it is just like we remembered it. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a classic motor inn, and it is family owned and operated. I highly recommend it.

It is clearly an older motel but well kept. The continental breakfast was coffee, tea, muffins, danish and bread for toast. We would stay here again!

Clean place

Room was very dated and walls were thin, could hear everytime the person next door got in and out of bed. The carpet was very stained but the rest of the room was clean. Everything worked as it should. We did have our dogs and they added on $20 each when we checked in, it would have been nice to know this beforehand but it was not disclosed.

It was out dated , but there was hair all over in the beding and under the pillows on the bed .. I mean pet hair everywhere.. yes I have a dog .. yes it's a pet friendly room but if the sheets and pillows were newly washed then there shouldn't be hair all over in the bedding .. needless to say we slept on the blankets .. and when I booked the rm online it said the king suit was pet friendly.. but then when I get there I had to get 2 queen beds .. vary dieciving. But they had real coffee cups not plastic which was cool..

It was ok

It was ok. It was clean but very outdated. Some lights didnt work. But it was clean and had a pool. You can walk across the street to a bar restaurant. In the morning there was a small breakfast. Better then nothing. Refrigerator and microwave. They allow dogs but you kinda have to walk down the street to let them use the bathroom.

I manage a fleet of trucks. My driver got to the location to check into the room and they told him that he did not have a reservation. I got on the phone with the manager and read him the confirmation number and he said expedia does this all the time. I told him I use them a lot and that has never happened before. He was very rude and said he couldn't help us that the reservation was never made. my driver had to leave in the snow storm and sleep in his truck. 3 hours later they called me to ask if I was going to check into the room and said they were going to charge me. I reminded him that my driver was there and the whole conversation that we had had and he said ... "OH yeah" and hung up
