Aside from being across the street from the casino, the hotel wasn’t bad. It was clean and quiet. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. The casino itself was very old and run down.

The Rising Star is a fantastic place to stay! The only issue we had was being across the street at the Lodge. This was really not a huge problem, but we would have rather been in the main building. Thank you

They lost my reservation. Had to drive home after concert

This building is dirty and everything is outdated. It’s in need of a remodel

Wasnt real pleased with rge slot machines. Needs updated

Friendly staff. Great buffett! Good price for hotel. Very clean. Nice complimentary breakfast.

Room could have been cleaner, but for the price we paid I guess we can’t complain! Bed was comfortable and we did enjoy our stay. Appreciated the free shuttle running from the Lodge over to the casino as it was cold outside.

Nice place casino could be better need more live tables

Reserved a DELUXE King Suite in the separate building called the Lodge, but when we arrived we were told that there are only 2 deluxe kings and 2 deluxe queen suites in the entire bldg. We settled for a deluxe queen suite as it was ready earlier. The Lodge is very clean, and the rooms are nice and the suites are large, but I wouldn't consider them suites compared to other casino hotels in this area. Elizabeth at the front desk was very nice, as were the other employees also. Shuttle bus to the Casino was quick & efficient. I'd stay here again if the Casino itself was different. I wanted the old-school WOF slot machines, they only had the new ones that had vibrating seats. Never got that first Wheel of Fortune spin after spending 60 minutes at the same machine. All that money spent (lost) and didn't qualify for any kind of discount at the Buffet. Buffet was good but not as good as it was 7-8 years ago. No one sounded like they were winning in the Casino. Casino was very empty and depressing. Entrance area to the main building was deserted. On Wednesdays, the only thing open was the grill and the buffet, Vic's Pub was closed as well as the Tiki bar on the top deck. Room was very nice, but I probably won't return. I don't see how this place stays open.

First off, hard to find where to check in when it is late. then at 1230 the fire alarm goes off. NO fire response except from hotel staff and security. Not a soul let us know that it was clear to come back in. No sorry. No explanation. We had to go check and see if we could go back to sleep.

Was disappointed that the restaurant and shops were not open later in the evening since it was a holiday weekend. The room was nice but Caleb the housekeeper could have done a better job.

Stayed at the Lodge. Clean and quiet room. Easy check in and check out. Had the best nights sleep I've had in any hotel in a long time. Also helps that I won some money over at the casino🙂

Had a great time! Would like to stay in the attached casino hotel, but have only been given a room at the Lodge

They kept saying I booked from expedian and insisted that the room was held only with my credit card and insisted that I use debit card as my credit card didn't work. Played a total of $300. For a room with double beds and a dirty bathroom.
