We recently stayed for a long weekend, and everything was exceptional! The property is beautiful, the accommodations are charming and has so much history, and Madison was wonderful! The hosts, Tom and Chandra, are so kind and helpful! We will hopefully be able to come back!

This place is absolutely beautiful, immaculate, warm and welcoming! The hosts provided coffee, tea, wine, snacks, toiletries….so much more than we expected. Even though they live on the property, they offer complete privacy unless you need something. We sought them out to sit on the porch in the evenings and visit. They are a beautiful, kind, fun couple. We will definitely be going back, not just to stay in this beautiful place, but to spend time with them as well.

Amazing property and top notch hosts! My sister and I loved the peace and quiet in the house and the hosts supplied us with more than we could have hoped for. From snacks to drinks to basic necessities. A 5 minute drive into downtown Madison was great too. I cant wait to go back with my wife. Thank you so much!

All you could ask for

We have stayed at a fair number of places from VRBO and the other service. This one surpasses them all and all future places will be compared to this one. The place itself is beautiful with its stone walls and old wood. Then there are the comfortable outdoor spaces overlooking the pond and its soothing bullfrog sounds. But what really puts this over the top is the small details. Everywhere you look there is something intentionally put there with the guest in mind. Fresh flowers, candles, Led lights everywhere, information on Madison, snacks, WINE! Also it was very clean, always a very important thing. Before arriving there, I thought the solid 5-star reviews were a little suspicious. But it's accurate, it deserves 5 stars! Great job, Chandra and Tom!

Girls Weekend

Wow! What a find! The house was beautifully decorated and had the most peaceful setup outside. The hosts met us upon arrival for a tour and to help carry our bags. They provided great suggestions for dining and activities. We felt very comfortable and welcome. It was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing girls weekend. Everything was clean neat. If we stay again in Madison, we will likely choose our weekend based on this property availability.

Beautiful property

This home is beautifully landscaped and decorated. It is clean and the hosts have provided everything to make your stay comfortable. There is also a nice pond for fishing in back. Although the place is attached to the owner's home, you have a separate entrance and plenty of privacy. Just a short drive to downtown.

Girls Weekend in Madison

The property is beautiful and the accomodations were charming. Just right for four girlfriends to get away, relax, and have fun. Easy jaunt into Madison. Tom and Chaundra were so helpful and easy to communicate with. Definitely reccomend for couples and friends headed to the area.

fantastic get away

Hosts were incredible. Everything available from towels and necessities to a small breakfast bar available in the room for us to have so we would not have to run out right away in the am for a snack or coffee. Very quiet and peaceful surrounding with a hot tub available to only us to use and beautiful grounds to walk around. The character of being in a 200+ year old home was so neat to see and the fact it was updated but you can still see and enjoy the character was awesome.

As good as it gets attention to detail

We had several places to choose from for our pre-Anniversary getaway to Madison. I’m so glad we chose Cypress Grove Inn. Very kind and attentive hosts who really have put together a gem of a property. Beautiful scenery and such a cool historic, but very clean and updated house. Would definitely book again If/when coming back to a Madison

A weekend getaway

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The overall experience was one of the best we have ever had. The hosts, the property, the location exceeded our expectations. Tom and Chandra did a wonderful job making our trip unforgettable. We had complete privacy and plenty of room to relax, but if we ever needed anything, Tom and Chandra were a text away. If you are looking to spend time in or near Madison, this IS the place to stay!

Great weekend getaway

If you want to find a secluded out-of-the-way, unique place to stay, that’s only minutes from downtown Madison, then this is a great option. Intimate and quiet and interesting all at the same time. The hosts and property were great. Love to stay there again.

Cozy & Private

A beautiful home away from home & so very peaceful. I spent a great deal of time on the back patio watching the hummingbirds & the butterflies. Chandra & Tom were kind & friendly; giving great insight to sites & events in Madison IN. It's just a short drive to Clifty Falls State Park, where there is excellent hiking. I would absolutely recommend this lovely place.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The accommodations were excellent from the decor to the quality of bedding and furniture. The location was perfect for exploring Madison and was so quiet and peaceful. We hope to go back soon!

Perfect Getaway!!!

This was a perfect couple day getaway for my wife and I. The hosts are great and are there to help in any way, and the location is just minutes from downtown Madison. It was nice to just unwind and relax in the beautiful living room or in the glorious hot tub with a view of the pond and ducks. We will definitely be back!

Excellent hosts

Tom and Chandra were excellent hosts. They met us at check-in and explained all of the amenities. Tom and Chandra made it abundantly clear we had full use of the property. As a bonus, the fall weather was amazing. We would fullly recommend the Cypress Grove Inn.

House is historic, charming and so cozy! Hosts are welcoming and have thought of everything! Back porch was so great, enjoyed hot tub and propane heater last night after a full day of eating, drinking and shopping in Madison all day.. We loved everything about our stay! SUPER HOSTS!

Lovely Place to Stay

Perfect location to stay when visiting Madison or Hanover. The property is lovely, well maintained and clean. We enjoyed several walks through the neighborhood and Chandra and Tom were very helpful.

Lovely property!

Beautiful 200 year old house, with cypress trees, ponds, ducks and pretty grounds. Hot tub was great! We also enjoyed the fire pit. Close to town and Clifty Falls park. If you’re looking for 3 bedrooms, be sure to ask when booking. The friendly owners are doing some remodeling (hopefully adding a 2nd bath) and that 3rd bedroom. Otherwise it was wonderful!

Outstanding in every way!

Staying at Cypress Grove Inn is a unique experience not to be missed. The house is rich with history. The setting is quiet and peaceful. A separate entrance provides privacy. Every need has been anticipated and planned for down to the smallest detail. Lovely touches show the thought that goes into making your stay great and definitely unforgettable.
