this place is for whoever looks for cheap place to stay. i had comftarble bed, hot water and that's all i needed. i've been out from morning till late night so just needed a place to sleep. if you are looking more things- that's not the place.

This hotel is a great price. The room and bathroom were clean. The room had a fridge also. The room had a good heater which was good as during February it can get very cold. Easily to get to on public transport as the metro is only 5mins from the hotel. There is a small super market and bar/restaurant near hotel The breakfast in the morning had a good range and was nice. The staff provided us with tips and good places to eat and drink in the city centre and what to see and do.

The rooms are nothing like the pictures. The wifi doesn't work, the tv doesn't work, the tea machine downstairs doesn't work so we got told to go shop down road. The safe In the room doesn't work. Nothing in the mini bar. The bathroom smells of drains. The shower plug was all blocked from someone previous hair where cleaners haven't cleaned it properly and it floods the shower and over flows. It is so noisy you can hear everything people going toilet, having shower, drying hair all night long. The breakfast was awful nothing savoury or sweet. No yoghurts no fruit either toast or cereal. The rooms all out dated need replenishing. The cleaners don't change your sheets the whole time your there. I wouldn't recommend this hotel it definitely not a 3 star. The paints all chipping off the floors. There dust everywhere and there no kettle or bottle of water in the room and no breakfast tea provided at breakfast and hot chocolate machine doesn't work.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here while out in Budapest for 4 nights for my birthday. If you're looking for a great location and a place to lay your head in the evening after a long day of sightseeing then this is for you. If you want luxury then perhaps not. The room was spacious, clean and our towels were replaced every day and our beds were made too. What more do you need really? The bathroom was spacious and the shower was powerful. A couple of slight irritations included the fact that although we paid for a double room, what you actually get is 2 single beds pushed together. While this annoyed us at first, we were pleasantly suprised that the beds were comfy, the pillows were amazing and we actually both slept better because noone was blanket/bed hogging! Another thing that wasn't great was while we were there the lift broke down leaving us having to climb 6 flights of stairs - good news is that we only had to do this once as it was fixed very quickly. We also would have loved having a kettle in our room as we both love a hot drink in the morning especially before a long day of walking around the city. Finally, it's a pretty decent hotel for the money paid and what we needed it for. Once you get over how it looks (as some areas do look rather run down) the room itself was very good.

The hotel is on the 4th - 6th floors of a residential building. There is a small elevator and stairs that provide access. The room, bed, bathroom were simple, clean and adequate. Ventilation was poor, and the room was hot when I would return late at night and I had to leave the door open for 20 minutes to cool it off. I did not see any fans or any way to adequately ventilate the room if it had been the hot season, I think it would be unbearable. The window opened onto a shared veranda and if the neighbors had been smoking next door I would have been left with a smoke filled room! (not acceptable) And, when people were talking on any level of the hotel outside I could hear everything - I even listened to someone's orgasm echoing through the shared courtyard one morning. unpleasant! The internet was weak or not available at all when I was in the room. In the hotel lobby the signal was strong. Breakfast had some egg and meat and cheese choices but no fruit or yogourt (no choices for breakfast foods if you are vegan). Coffee came from a machine. Again, had to walk through smokers on the shared veranda to enter the breakfast area. No coffee/tea machine in the room. I had to buy my own bar of soap for the shower. There was no lotion or shampoos, nor a washcloth. The room had a hairdryer which i appreciated. There was a TV but I did not try it. There was a mini fridge. There was no phone in the room. Guests were told to use the safe at the main registration desk and to leave the key whenever they left the hotel. The hotel was near several nice markets and coffee shops and very close to a metro, making it convenient location. I was prepared to give the hotel an average review but two things swayed me to give it a poor rating. First was coming back after a long day and finding out the elevator was broken and I would either have to walk up 6 flights of stairs, not an option for me as I was recovering from surgery, or wait in the lobby until it was ready. The second incident was just as I was leaving, when returning my key, the front desk staff scolded me rudely and lectured me like I was a little child. It was my last experience in Budapest and left me with a bitter taste and feeling very angry at the end of a much needed vacation. Totally unacceptable customer service. I found the night reception staff to be respectful but the daytime staff were cold, and in addition to the final incident, the place did not feel warm and welcoming as a vacation place. For that reason alone I would not recommend this hotel except for one or two day overnight stay, when necessary for business.

The only good think was location and silence. The room was awful, absolutely not what I saw on pictures when booked. No window. No shower gel or shampoo. No lunchbox when checkout before breakfast I paid. Coffee machine was broken. Try to avoid when you pay more than 20 euro for this.

Stayed here one night so that we had a short ride to the airport. The room was good, beds and shower are very good. But unfortunately it's a noisy hotel, we had Russians or Bulgarians in the room next to us and we could enjoy everything including the soccermatch they were watching. Had a drink at the bar in the evening and the barstaff was very uninterested. Our glasses were empty and did not bother to ask us if we wanted another drink. Good service is the fact that we had to leave before breakfast and they would not mind to make a package with some food for us to take to the airport.

Stayed here for Three nights. The room was roasting. Constantly. There is a free standing air con unit that works a bit but never really gets the room cool. The unit is super noisy also. Room not clean- massive cobwebs and spider intact beside bed. Mouldy in bathroom. Leaky shower that's constant drip was a slow form of torture. No cold water from the sink tap just hot! Couldn't leave luggage there when checking out although they advertised you can. Would never go back.

Upon arriving from the airport the hotel looks a little rough, however once we walked in it didn't feel as rough, we stayed 3 nights, the room was hot so we had the aircon on it quickly cooled down, but was noisy. Breakfast was basic, toast is ok, coffee terrible! Location wise is great with bars and restaurants near by, a 20 min walk to heroes square, longer at slower pace, than from heroes square its a short walk to the Szechenyi Baths. This hotel was good for us as friends staying to explore the city, we were out all day, so it was just a bed. Our bedding wasn't changed during our stay, the lift is a little rickety!

We stayed in this hotel for 1 week... they never changed the sheets! The rooms are really really hot! We had to sleep with a noisy air conditioning all night! People at the reception are not friendly at all!! Every time i asked for directions, they always answered: i don't know... The only positive thing is that it is located very near to downtown. We arrived there during the night, and the first thing I thought was: "we are gonna die here!"
