Small room. Wall mounted Tv at foot of bed which I kept walking into every time I needed to get by. Don’t bother with breakfast. Bean to cup coffee machine produced undrinkable coffee. Food well what can I say. Never tasted scrambled egg like it. Thank god for McDonald’s round the corner. Unlikely to go back. Positive the reception staff were lovely. Room not made up one day and then when we had the do not disturb sigh up they came in to clean the room. It was an okay location but be aware the underground stops at 23.00 so means a longish walk or taxi back if you go out for the night.
Lovely, helpful staff, good location for transport and pleasant bar/lounge area. Unfortunately, we were sold the hotel by Blue Seas Holidays who advertised the facility of Tea and Coffee machines in all rooms. On arrival we were told that that facility would cost an extra £43 per room for the 3 nights we were staying. This may sound petty to you but it was important to our 5 elderly guests.....either cough up and install the kettle etc. or have some form of control over your agent's advertising......just saying....
Nicely appointed, clean hotel with terrific staff. The lobby has a bar for a nightcap and there is a breakfast restaurant with a fine food selection each morning. The rooms are clean and you can freshen your room by opening the window if needed. The bathroom is a bit tight (little counter space), but the rain head shower is awesome. Well located across from the train station, it is a very easy location if you plan on going to Vienna for the day. Metro easily accessible to hit downtown.
Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Very well located across the street from the main train station so if you want to go to Vienna for a day it's super convient. Also located close to two metro lines and major bus routes. Less than a 2km walk from the ruin bar area. Excwllent value. If you are travelling from within euopre you can get an excellent deal with your flight with Wizz tours.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel was clean, had friendly staff with good facilities. Breakfast was good, buffet style, with hot and cold food. The pancakes were delicious. The hotel was a bit too warm during the night. The hotel was reasonably located but the distance from the main area reflected in the price. The buses ran frequently or it is a 30 minute walk down to the river if you turn right out of the hotel doors, right at the end of the road as though walking away from the train station and continue without turning off. The hotel kindly packed us sandwiches, apples and drinks for a journey home as we had an early flight and would have missed breakfast.
The hotel is in a quite new building. Our room was pretty basic for a new hotel, offering a good bathroom but not much extra space. Even though the room was on the first floor and facing the street, it was quiet in the night. Breakfast was ok: there was a nice selection but many of the items were dry (e.g. the bread). The WiFi was slowish. Front desk service was friendly. As the price of the room was competitive I didn't expect more. All the basics were in order. The location is near the Keleti railway station. The touristic sights of the city are not right at the doorstep but on the other hand there are good public transport connections (two metro lines and several buses). We came to Budapest for an event at the Szusza Ferenc Stadion and for us it worked fine as there was a direct bus to the stadion. There are restaurants in the area. A supermarket is very close.
We were europe tour so this was our second destination before moving on to Prague by train so it is perfect location close to the station. It is very clean and designed well. It's not in central but easy to get there with bus or even you can walk for about 20-25mins. Highly recommended!
We stayed for 3 nights before moving on to Prague by train so it is perfect for the station. It is very clean and there is a Spar across from the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and recommended a good restaurant! We went twice! All in all a good hotel for sightseeing in a short time, not in the centre but hop on hop off bus stops a short walk away.
This hotel is approx 30-40 mins from the airport by taxi. It is situated near the Keleti Station, convenient for transport. On arrival, the happy young lady on the reception welcomed us . Our room was on second floor at the back so it was peaceful where my children had the front room which was noisy at night. Room was clean and neat. In the bathroom, the shower cubicle needs little attention. Wifi in the room was good but not many TV channels. Our room was cleaned everyday. The breakfast room is small and not much of a variety of food but plenty of cafes and restaurants around if needed. City is 10-15 mins away by metro from the hotel. The staff are polite and helpful which again makes the stay comfortable, thanks. Overall we had a pleasant short stay, we rate this hotel as average in value and as 3*.
We were very satisfied in general with the facilities at this hotel. Slightly disappointed that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room, but excellent 'cuppas' in the bar! The staff were extremely helpful, and directed us to a lovely little restaurant less than 5 minutes away. Breakfasts at the hotel were great, and as we were moving on to Prague by train, the location was perfect. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!
