The worst hotel experience we have ever had! Bed sheets and towels not changed when we got our room the first day. Unpolite waitress in the breakfast room. Dirty and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel.
I have been there at the end of last July, this hotel does not correspond to a 4* hotel. The bath was very small (a few facilities half used), breakfast was not yummy, the bar, the lobby and the garden really small. Every thing could be OK for a 3* hotel. No body cleaned my room the first and the fourth day. The best, it was near a tube and train station!!
Stayed here for 3 nights , staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and tidy . Breakfast was included in our price and had a very good selection . There were some lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance. The metro was at the top of the road . The train station is about 5 minute walk away and the tour bus route is about 10 minutes from the hotel . Tour bus and the baths tickets are both available from reception . Internet included in the price
Located 2 minutes from the main train station but immediate s surrounding area not particularly attractive. Small room. Staff helpful but not particularly friendly. Breakfast ok with reasonable choice. Small bar and seated lounge area. Ok as a base to see the city.
+ve Location to Keleti Train station, Supermarket(SPAR) just oppo, Great food option nearby(Turkish and Italian), Friendly staff, Good breakfast spread, For reliable money change, go to the shop after SPAR(recommended by hotel staff). -ve No kettle in room by default. I personally enjoyed the stay and would return to stay here again when visiting Budapest.
Stayed 3 nights..had standard double which was comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Spoke good English...very helpful with suggesting and booking activities..activity package given on arrival. Arrived early and was able to leave luggage in their storage room. On check out we were able to stay in cafe/lobby area till time to go to nearby Kelyeti train station. Breakfast included in price..good selection of food. Would stay here again. M and A from Australia
This Budapest hotel is a technical 4-star - it really should be regarded as a strong 3-star. The rooms are smallish (you are offered at check-in to upgrade to a larger room for a discounted rate lower than what’s advertised on the internet) and feature a unique glass-walled shower which allows you to watch someone shower from the comfort of the bed. Unique. The towels are disappointing - thin and ready for replacement. There's a stocked fridge in the room which leaves some room for your own refreshments. Being that the hotel is across from the train station, there are plenty of amenities in the immediate vicinity like grocery stores, fast food outlets, and a Metro line within a few minutes walk. But, being close to the train station also means a lot transient traffic and a sometimes sketchy ambience. However, at no time did my wife or myself feel unsafe day or night. WiFi is free but weak and intermittent.
Although not very close to city centre you'll find metro, bus and hopper bus stops close by. Rooms were clean and of a decent size, the breakfast offered hot and cold choices. There is no kettle in room but if you ask at reception they will provide one at no extra cost. The air conditioning was great as the temperature during the day was in mid 30's. There are some restaurants near by, just ask reception who will give you directions. But for quick bites there's a KFC, MacDonalds, Burger King and Starbucks within a 20 meter walk. Overall a very pleasant stay
We arrived by train from London and needed somewhere close to lay down our heads for just the one night, before travelling on to northern Hungary. The Royal Park Boutique Hotel was perfect. Clean, comfortable and, most importantly, quiet. There are eateries and a mini-mart in close vicinity. Well recommended.
My husband and I stayed at the royal park boutique hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is very close to amenities. The train station and metro is very close by. Local buses and hop on hop off buses also passes through on the main road close by to the hotel too. Around the hotel you can find mini supermarkets, fast food and restaurants. The hotel itself is clean, staff are helpful and breakfast is adequate.
