A lovely friendly hotel close to metro, trams and busses. Very easy to get around the city from here. The staff were excellent and made us very welcome. Breakfast selection was nice and regularly refreshed and replenished.
We found this Hotel to be very conveniently positioned on the Pest side of the Danube. It was within walking distance to the railway station and the 'Giraffe' hop on and off buses. We found this to be a very convenient way of seeing this beautiful city. Anyone visiting Budapest must go to the Buda side of the river and take in the Church in the Cave, the Royal Palace, the underground hospital which is quite emotional, but astounding ! a must see on the Pest side are the Houses of Parliament which is stunning and St Stephens Basillica. A river tour is a must. Budapest is beautiful City on a beautiful river.
My husband and I spent 3nights B&B at this hotel at the end of February. Hotel is very central, within walking distance of the centre, granted around a 20min walk but if you don’t mind walking it’s well worth it as you get to see lots of other sites along the way. We bought a sightseeing tour from the hotel themselves which we realised after we could of got at a 10% discount with a code from the ‘handy’ device located in your rooms. The handy device is like a mobile which you are free to use throughout your stay and can take it out and about with you, we found this extremely useful, just remember to charge it! Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Our room was lovely, nicely decorated and clean. Staff at reception were very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Thank you for a lovely stay :o)
I stayed here with some friends for a few nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, very clean. The staff on reception were extremely friendly and informative, they gave us all of the information we would need for our trip and were only too happy to book things for us when needed. We would definitely return!
this hotel call himself "boutique" so as a Clint U are coming with expectation of high class service and more, nothing of that the standards rooms are very small , the stuff isn't provide service , breakfast is horrible yes in Hungry where u have expected that the food will be supper u are deep disappointed. as i wrote this hotel should be 2 stars not more.
This is a good value hotel in a really good location in the Budapest city centre. There is plenty to do within a short walk and good transport links. Keleti station is a 2 minute walk as is the metro station to get around the city. The room was big enough and clean. It does the job a short city break should. All in all a pleasant 2 night stay.
We found this to be a great location with a main railway station within 50 metres and easy access to the metro and bus routes. There are a few really good eateries within a few minutes walk ranging from great basic cooking to top flight restaurants with live music. By U.K. standards I would rate this as a good quality budget Hotel snd was generally happy with the toon and service. The “free” breakfast proves the old adage of getting what you pay for and is probably the most lacking part of the stay.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We used the airport taxi transfer, it cost 7800 HUF (one way}, as quoted and the driver was very friendly and punctual. On arrival the man on reception was friendly and helpful. Our room was at the front of the hotel, it was very quiet. The size of the room was ample with all the amenities you would expect. When it came to breakfast there was plenty of choice with the breakfast staff topping up the food regularly. The bar area was a comfortable place to relax after a long day's sight-seeing, the bailey coffees were very good. It is a good 30 minute walk to the river but the hotel is very close to the metro if you didn't want to walk. There are very good restaurants close by and The Jewish quarter with it's ruin pubs and again, very good restaurants only about 15 mins away. We would certainly stay here again
Hotel clean and reception/waiting staff very helpful and polite. Room very bijou and bathroom (not enough space for 2 people) and some nasty hazards in room itself - sharp edges on eye level furniture and many knocks encountered by us (could have been serious eye injuries). The blind obscuring the shower (inside the bedroom) fell down and was not replaced during our visit. Breakfast mediocre - one 4 slice toaster for all guests which resulted in queues.
Had a 3 night stay in this small hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. It has an excellent location and the rooms are good and very functional. The reception staff were very helpful especially Atilla and the breakfasts had a good choice of food. The only negative were the staff at breakfast who were not at all friendly, surly, miserable and unhelpful. Otherwise it was a good hotel which I would stay in again. Just hope they change their breakfast staff!
