We stayed in room #1. The tram runs right below the window and is very noisy. The room was very warm, the air conditioning was turned of for the season and the street noise made it impossible to open windows. The room space was nice, the shower had a bad smell, the breakfast was ok. Besides the street noise the location was very good.

The rooms & hotel are very modern and are well equipped. We had a deluxe king room which was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and it was very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is very quiet within the facility and between rooms but the residence is located on a very busy street with the tram running directly in front of the hotel. The Metro and tram are very close for transportation but the between tram route and the emergency sirens the street noise can be quite loud especially on the weekends and until 10:30pm when the trams stop. The hotel has done everything within it’s control to reduce noise with sound proofing & thick windows but you might consider bringing ear plugs or a sound machine to minimize night noise. It had great balcony but it was wasted for us due to the street traffic & noise. For US travelers, be sure to pack plug adapters as all of the outlets are for European outlets. The kitchenette is fully equipped and they supply hair dryer but pack shampoo & conditioner as that is not provided. Overall, it is a nice place to stay and I felt safe walking around the area. I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn’t been for the street noise.

Perfect place to stay in Budapest

The room had everything I needed and was nice and clean and the staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful and they really made the trip! As a solo traveller I was a little wary of the area as it was so busy, but I felt safe and the room was so quiet you wouldn’t be able to tell you were so central. Highly recommend!

This was a large well equipped room in a great location. The staff were good and helpful but the room servicing was very limited (towels changed on request, no bed making or room cleaning). The only complaint would be that the carpet was very dirty and needed replacing. Would stay again though.

The flat I stayed In was really useful in terms of location to the city. Had lots of items in the kitchen and made the stay comfortable. The flat itself was very unclean. There were spider webs and spider around the ceiling. Not been hoovered properly and the shower had hairs in. The front photo of the hotel on the page was also entirely different from the one I approached. It was behind a locked gate.

I stayed at Karoly Corner Residence just one night while transiting through Budapest, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I travel a lot and was a little hesitant about booking a hotel apartment, but from the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism of the guest service and the overall quality of the property. I had a superior room facing the main street, and it was fantastic. The shower was modern, spacious, and had perfect hot water, no issues at all. The bedroom featured a large, stylish, and incredibly comfortable bed, plus a TV both in the bedroom and the small living room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need. The location is excellent, the furniture and decor are high quality, and the service was top-notch. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Budapest, and I will definitely be coming back here again around this time of year!

Would stay again!

This place was wonderful! Perfect location, spacious and modern. You would not know the building was 100 years old! Kitchen was perfect for making breakfast in the am. Comfy bed. Very clean. Had a minor issue with the shower drain, and it was fixed the same day while I was out. Only negative is that you can hear the traffic because it is between busy streets, but it did not keep me from sleeping, and the whole area is very busy (so it's probably the same everywhere).
