I spent there one night. Room was comfortable and enough furnitured. Nice view from spa center on last floor. Park space also available - extra paid. Check in and check out very fast. Only breakfast could be better.
Stayed for 3 nights. Room is clean and equipped with the basics. Breakfast has a good variety with average quality. Very accessible, 1 minute walk to a bus stop and about 6 minutes walk to a tram stop. Ideally located near Castle Hill. Staff are interactive enough. Average price and worth the penny. All in all a very good stay, no complaints at all.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week and couldn't have been happier. The staff was excellent and they were very quick to help us out with anything we asked about. We had a room with a balcony facing the park (you need to ask at the reception when you check in if there are any available). During the day it was pretty noisy but that didn't bother us since we weren't in the room much. At night it was nice and quiet. Good size bedroom. And you can regulate the temperature in the room. AC worked great. I found the bed to be too hard but that might have more to do with my bad back. Good size bathroom with overhead shower which had great pressure. The TV channels were in several languages. Only 2 were in English and they were BBC news. Again we were in the room too much so that didn't matter for us. Very nice pool up on the 9th floor which in the evening you could see the whole city light up. There was also a couple of saunas which we needed to ask to be started up for us to use. Breakfast buffet was very good. Lovely sitting out in the pavilion. We had dinner in the restaurant 1 night and it was also very good. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel so getting down to the metro is only 1 stop and goes fast. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend stay there.
Stayed here for four nights on a couples holiday. The hotel room was absolutely spotless and was throughly cleaned everyday. Was slightly sceptical about the breakfast due to the reviews on here but I thought it was brilliant. Lots of choice. Really enjoyed the pool area as well, we were always the only people in there. Only thing to be improved is that there wasn't tea/ coffee facilities in the room. Would recommend.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and we had a very good time here. I loved the hotel at the first sight because of the lovely furnishings, ART DECO style. The theme in the hole buildning. Lovely room with everything you need for a stay. Clean, Comfortable. The beds are great. We were not so very fond of the breakfast and the staff were not very friendly and helpfull, sorry to say that. One morning the coffie was cold but they did their best to convince me that is wasn't!! Same thing happened to the scrambled eggs, cold and nobody wanted to eat it. The staff/maneger in the reception was very kund and helpful.
We arrived at Belvedere Hotel and checked in smoothly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was included in our stay which was nice but not a lot of hot food choice. The spa area was lovely and the views of Budapest were beautiful. Overall our stay was pleasant, Thank you.
This hotel had a comfortable bed, a large bathroom with a nice shower with two heads (just make sure the head isn't facing outside of the bathtub or you will soak the room), TV with multiple channels, good lighting and electrical outlets. We ate dinner there one day and it was excellent. Breakfast was pretty much the same thing daily but there were lots of options. The only minor things I would suggest is that it was hard to regulate the heat in our room, and it would be nice to have had some lotion in the bathroom.
Stayed here for couple of nights on business in October 2016. It is situated near the Mamut shopping centre and tram station on the Buda side of the river. Although, not that close to the river or the downtown area of the city on the other side of the river. Lots of cafes and restaurants near by, as well as plenty in the shopping centre during the day. Opposite is nice park, if you want to stroll around a green area. The room itself was clean, adequate and of average standard. The bathroom shower area was clean and functional. The only criticism of the shower was that there was no glass protection on bath. Therefore, when you had a shower, the water would go all over floor. Breakfast was plentiful and had enough variety. I did use the hotel restaurant one of the nights I was there and was pleasantly surprised. The standard of the food was good and the price for the two course meal was very reasonable (a similar price to what you pay in a restaurant in the surrounding area). In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel, if you do not need (or want) to be near the river or near the downtown side of Budapest. I would stay here again. P.S. There a gym/leisure area on the top floor of this hotel that I did not use. Also, the free WiFi signal strength was sufficient.
I have left the Belvedere hotel more than satisfied. Summarising all the experiences it was my best place in the year 2016 - so far of course. I have only missed a safety box in the room, but it was easy to live without it. Friendly personnel, a clean and spacious room. A good breakfast. Great parking and fast wi-fi.
Really enjoyed staying here. It was not really in the center of activity but it was easy to reach other points in town using public transportation that was available a block or so from the hotel. The breakfast that was served was not really to my taste but it was fresh and nicely presented.
