Arrived at this hotel from the airport by private taxi, checked in at the welcoming reception, the room overlooking buda - pest at the front of the hotel , the room was well presented and with all commodities bath and shower tv mini bar fridge, the hotel has a infinity pool sauna at the top level of the hotel, asked for complimentary robes at reception a great space to relax outside of your room , the rooms are spacious and warm plenty of space for lounging, including the balcony need a coat on our there as the temperature is not forgiving, slip into something warm and observe the view as long and far as one can see, with a multi position front and rear view, in the room before using the hotel restaurant for evening meal, a well presented menu for meal and drinks. Well located close to the tram , metro and bus roots that will get you anywhere in budapest, the hotel also serves a well presented breakfast , should cater for all , this hotel is well located and it's presentation and facilities are excellent

I don't know who's give this hotel four star? Rooms is small, wery bad equipped, very noisy area, ambulance car every few minutes! No coffee maker in room, pillow is like stone, classic soap.no earsticks? Breakfast is so bad, some black hot drink ,not caffe, little plate, eggs and some sosages, catastrophic!! Newer back here.

Delightful hotel in Buda. Lovely room overlooking busy road and park. Quite noisy in the day but quiet at night. Comfy bed, great facilities and lovely clean and modern bathroom with fab shower. Only criticism was it was far too warm even with heating off at thermostat but we could open the window. Staff were the nicest and most polite that we met in our whole weekend. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and we ate 2 evenings in the hotel. Great food st reasonable price and lovely surroundings. The hotel is not in the nicest area and is a very long walk from river(downhill) and castle area(uphill). We did not find any really nice bars or restaurants. They were just OK and we did not find people very friendly or welcoming to tourists. We did try the Markus restaurant. It was soulless with no atmosphere or background music and very average food with oven chips or potato croquettes. We could not wait to get out. Spa on the roof of hotel is fabulous. We went up at midnight on New Years Eve out on the terrace and had a spectacular view of fireworks over the whole city. I would recommend staying in Pest side for atmosphere and things to do in the evening. But we loved the hotel, just a little far out. Shopping centre nearby is great though if that's your thing. 3 days in Budapest is just about right, we stayed one day too long. PS hotel will provide a kettle if you ask. Just need to collect 2 cups from restaurant and take your own teabags!!

Checking into the Belvedere for 4 nights in early December with good first impressions. The hotel can be accessed relatively easily through public transport from the airport with a bus journey followed by taking the metro to the city centre and changing onto line 2 (red line) Szell Kallman Ter. The hotel is located a 3 minute walk from an active commercial area with a vast shopping centre and an array of fast food restaurants which were convenient to have nearby. While we were disappointed that the "double bed was simply two single beds pushed together, it was a small sacrifice for the overall quality of the room. You enter into a small but classy reception area where the staff were always helpful and approachable. The room was spacious, well decorated with a nice tv, very useful and reasonably priced minibar. Additionally, we were lucky enough to have a balcony which was always a nice way to start the morning. The bathroom was spotless with an incredible rainforest shower coupled with excellent water pressure and temperature control. Although the breakfast was lacking in a high standard of hot foods, it was more than reasonable for what is usually offered in European hotels. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay at an incredible price and would happily recommend the Belvedere for anybody travelling for a city break in this stunning city!

In summary, I think this is a very good hotel. + Located near to the local market where the Langos and local food are cheap (and good). Ask the hotel staff to recommend a nearby restaurant called Markus for Hungarian food. + Swimming pool and suana has a nice view of the city + Breakfast selection was good + Located very near to castle district and the metro station + Room was clean and cosy. No complains (We had a view of the park which was nice) *BUY the budapest card. Budapest has a confusing ticketing system for their public transport. Just BE sure about the regulations if you dont want to buy a pass.

We stayed in the Belvedere hotel again this year Same two rooms 501 and 504 on the 5th floor Lovely views in the morning, Breakfast was nice and the staff very friendly The tram and buses stop just outside the hotel You can get a 72 hour ticket for the trans buses and underground it’s about £12.00 each for 72 hour ticket you can travel all over Budapest on your ticket we got a taxi from the airport to the hotel which we book with the hotel direct it was €32 euros or 9500 florins for four of use Great place to visit and loads to see a must visit The steam baths All the best billy Bisson

Very high standard in customer service at a very good price. We just came back from Budapest after 3 wonderful days in this structure. Lovely view from the pool at 9th floor, very good food and pretty good position, not so far from city centre.

This is a small but modern hotel a bit away from the city centre, but easily accessible by tram and metro. The price was excellent (€80 per night including breakfast), but I got this price by phoning rather than booking online, where the quote is €10 higher. Nice buffet breakfast and well appointed rooms. A fair amount of road noise as the road outside is quite busy, but if you close the window it’s fine.

We stayed at Hotel Belvedere Budapest for 3 nights at the start of October 2017. Everything was spot on from start to finish. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. The top floor pool and sauna is a great way to break from all the walking and sight seeing in Budapest. Hungarian breakfast went down a treat every morning. The hotel is located in Buda, short walk away from Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Castle, Buda Hill etc. For seeing Pest it's a very simple metro link at a station just 5 minutes from the hotel. If I come back to Budapest, I will stay here again!

The recreational area is really good with pool and sauna. The view from there was very nice. The room was nice and the cleaning very good. The breakfast was also good, The location was close to metro and trams.
