Everything great...would stay again in a heartbeat.....ask for a room with a view of the! Has free tea time....half price happy breakfast....very helpful staff...who could ask for more...and very comfortable room/bed!

We booked a 3 night stay at this wonderful hotel. Really cannot fault it from the warm welcome on checking in to the comfortable night sleep We had the most amazing view of the danube. Rooms spotless and the air conditioning cooled us down The location of the hotel was great most things walkable but we got the hop on and hop off bus tickets. Breakfast very tasty loads of selection and kept us going all day I would definitely recommend this to people looking for a hotel in the quieter but still central area .

My husband and I stayed at the Boutique Hotel Victoria from April 29 to May 2nd. We loved the view from our room - spacious and facing the river. It was wonderful looking out of the foot-high windows and seeing the Parliment building, especially when the skyline was lit up on night. The furnishings were modern, and every morning we ate breakfast in a pleasant, sunny room. So why the two stars? Despite the lovely view and friendly service, there were shoddy touches to our stay that I can't forget: 1. The teapot provided in the room was of very cheap quality. It broke only a day after I used it, and the manager had to provide us with another. That one was also broken, and we had to wait for a third. The fourth teapot finally worked, but it was such a hassle to have tea in the evenings! 2. Used toiletries. In the bathroom, we found a nearly full bottle of conditioner that had been opened by another guest and put back to make it look as it was new. I don't remember ever encountering this in a four star hotel. 3. We got locked out. On the third night of our stay, my husband and I went out late to some bars and clubs. We came back after midnight and the doors to the hotel were locked. Nobody was there. We called the manager but nobody answered. We had no choice but to walk down to the nearby Art'otel Budapest for help. The all-night concierge called the Victoria but nobody answered. We considered staying at the Art'otel for the night, but decided to go back one more time to see if anybody was there. We walked back to the Victoria (by this time it was an hour later) and we finally saw the hotel was back open!! The concierge (only one person!!) said he had stepped out for a short time and had to lock down the hotel while he was away. Seriously?!! You lock all your guests out while you go to the bathroom and get a smoke? A good hotel would post a sign or something to let your guests know where you are. 4. Lastly, we asked the concierge on our last night to mail a postcard for us. My husband has a friend who collects postcards from foreign countries. Two months later, she said it was never received. Before, we stayed at the Aria in Prague and she got the postcard very quickly. My husband paid extra postage to the Victoria to have this card mailed. I emailed them notifying them of the situation, but two weeks later, no response. So there you have it. A hotel aspiring to be a "four star" but having cheap amenities and poor service. I hate downgrading hotels, but we would never stay here again.

The Boutique Hotel Victoria Budapest is the perfect place to stay in Budapest! Located in an ideal location on the river on the Buda side of the city, the hotel is ideal for walking or easy metro access to everywhere. I stayed in a room with a view of the parliament building and the Chain Bridge. The hotel staff were extremely cordial and professional. The breakfast offering is fair and offers a good range of food. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Buda-Pest!

The hotel is clean, cozy and the staff is soooo helpful from all departments Had to ask to keep things in kitchen fridge and they were so helpful to assist Highly recommended for a practical stay View is beautiful, walking distance from the chain bridge.

We had a 4 night city break here. First visit to Budapest and hopefully won't be the last. This hotel is superb and probably has the best view of the city. There is nothing to fault. Stay here! The staff were so so helpful, the room perfect, the breakfast fabulous.

We stayed at the Hotel Victoria for four nights on our first trip to Budapest. The hotel is in an ideal location for restaurants and transport for sight-seeing. It is very close to the bridges across the Danube and the metro. There is also a tram stop directly opposite which is perfect when you have spent the day walking round the city. It is also within walking distance of the funicular to take you up to the castle. The hotel room was modern, very well equipped and comfortable and the views from the windows are stunning, especially at sunset when the Parliament building opposite practically glows. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful: available for help and advice when required. The breakfast at the hotel is fresh and tasty with a good range of drinks and food to get you started for the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I ever get the chance to go back to Budapest.

A gem of a hotel, centrally located and perfect for tourists !!! I have stayed at Hotel Victoria before and it seems each time they improve the quality of their service and facilities. I highly recommend the hotel and definitely plan to come back whenever I am back in Budapest !!!

Nice Hotel, close to City Center, friendy staff helpfull with directions. Safe but a bit expensive Parking. Wonderfull view on the Danube from window. Excellent breakfast an very nice and friendly waiter Sylke.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Right opposite Parliament, what a view from our bedroom window, it was spectacular. We would sit looking out at the traffic going up and down the river, better than watching tv. In the evening when Pest was lit up it was truly a spectacle. The hotel was very good, spotlessly clean, the breakfast was also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.
