Came in for a quiet meal to relax and was immediately greeted by a young man I think his name was Callum but I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome. Throughout the duration of the meal he was constantly aware of how I was and how my food was I was very pleased with the service I will definitely be coming back and look forward to next time.

We stayed with our 4 year old for 2 nights whilst visiting family in the area. The staff were fabulous and friendly, especially Ian on reception. And our room was perfect for the 3 of us with a lovely big, comfy sofa bed for our little boy. It was also surprisingly quiet, considering how close the hotel is to a major roundabout. We'd definitely stay again if we need a hotel in High Wycombe.

Stayed here for a one night stopover on way to London, very comfortable bed, clean room. Waiting on service great considering restaurant very busy with coach party, food good although breakfast could do with being warmer. Unaware service charge applied to evening meal until after the bill was paid.

Myself and my partner are regular customers to this hotel, the hotel has extremely friendly staff in the reception, especially Federica Conti who is genuinely a helpful and caring person. She always makes us feel welcome and always has a smile that can brighten your day. The manager Vipan is also really nice and takes care of us every time we visit, he always makes sure we are happy and satisfied and always give us a flawless service, if we ever have any issues he is always on hand to resolve it straight away. I have stayed in many IHG hotels across the UK and I can honestly say this is one of my top 5 favourites, which is the reason why we keep coming back. Thank you guys for making our stay lovely.

A superb Holiday Inn in an excellent location. Near the M40 motorway, not far from the picturesque towns of Henley and Marlow. Excellent service, comfortable stay, good value and great Holiday Inn breakfast - what more could you ask for!

I am a fairly frequent user of Holiday Inn. I like the reliability of the Brand... When my wife and I checked in to this one in High Wycombe, our initial impression was very good. A clean, tidy hotel, fairly modern. We got an upgrade room due to me being a Platinum IHG member (often you don't, so this was good!!), and the complimentary drinks voucher. We went to dinner, and at this point it all went wrong! There was a coach party in (which management would have known about) which caused everything to be slow. Service was terrible as well! Food was OK, but when it came out - no cutlery (we had to ask!) then no napkins and sauces. Problem with drinks too... Overall, nice enough room, poor food and terrible bar service!

I stay at this hotel for my business trip in London. I just stay here for three nights. The hotel room was clean and nice. The only things is they don't provide any water, they said that you can drink from the water from the tape. The front desk guy was so nice to offer me one bottle when I check in. Thumb up!! The breakfast was great, love it so much. There is a supermarket nearby the hotel, just 5 minutes walk. There is a McDonald's nearby this supermarket. The hotel is also nearby a cinema and a restaurant. There is a Mall called NEXT just opposite the hotel.

One night stay. We arrived around 9pm and came down to eat at 9.30, thinking the food here would be far superior to the chains around and we were very tired. Immediately, we could see that apart from one other table eating, everywhere looked like the Marie Celeste. No staff around, even at the bar. We had to knock on the kitchen door to summon someone. We took our drink and sat down. We ordered. Had to pinch cutlery from another table! The food was adequate but nothing special. No-one came to ask if everything was okay and again, half way through the meal we had to call for someone from the kitchen to get another drink as no staff around anywhere. So that's where they hide! Two guys appeared. I was told to sit down and the glass would be brought to me. Ten minutes later I was still waiting. I fetched it myself as it was just sitting on the bar. The barman "apologised" and said he was wondering where it belonged!? My two daughters were still eating and a waiter arrived to clear my husband and my plates, until I asked him to please leave them. Two staff were laying tables for breakfast all around us without a smile or a word of "Is everything ok?" Just ignored us completely. We asked for the dessert menu. "Oh, I'll go and find someone." Around 10 minutes later, a guy appeared with a pink dishcloth in his hand "So you want dessert?" He eventually took a pad from his pocket. The guy was pleasant but slow and un enthusiastic. The whole experience was lack lustre. Staff were just not interested. Polish lady waiting was very pleasant, but our advice is to find a job elsewhere as she's wasted here. There were hard working staff laying up but it appears the bar guys were mostly in the kitchen??! Breakfast was very pleasant in contrast with a middle aged lady staff member going out of her way to be lovely to everyone, and wore the first smile we had seen since arriving the night before! The Polish lady was lovely too. But we were let down again when waiting at Reception to leave. The Manager could clearly see we were waiting with cases, ready to leave but did not look in our direction or acknowledge us in any way. That encompasses everything that's wrong with this hotel. The management appears to be weak and lazy. Staff have potential and could be so much better with more direction. It's not fair on them. They look so inexperienced and actually, quite wary. We have checked out Managers replies to numerous complaints about this hotel and find the usual boring, unhelpful: "We pride ourselves......" Honestly? Really?! How can that be?! Sums it up really. Will not be back and will be writing to Head Office.

We stayed for 1 night whilst visiting a restaurant in the area. The approach to the hotel seriously needs some work, pot holes and overgrown weeds and lots of litter were not a good first impression. Check-in was very efficient and reception were very helpful. The initial reception area, bar and restaurant area are clean and modern. That's where it ends. Although clean, comfy and perfectly adequate the room was very dated and tired. Particularly the bathroom. Stained carpets and a wiff of stale fag smoke from years ago ingrained in the carpet no doubt still prevailed! Definitely time for a refurb. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff did a great job of keeping it topped up. We paid a fair price for what we got and it was ok.

This was a comfortable hotel to stay at while on a business trip. The room was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The shower had good water pressure. The room had everything I needed. Customer service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of tasty options. I also walked to the Next department store across the street, went to the movie theater next door, and had dinner at the Frankie and Benny's restaurant. All were nice, and it was convenient to have those businesses in the area close to the hotel. I would stay here again if I returned to the area on business.
