Stayed here with my wife and children. My youngest son left his favourite soft toy, Ellie the pug dog. He was heartbroken, we guessed it had been left at the hotel and contacted them. They were very helpful and confirmed Ellie had been left, and sent her straight back to us. They didn't even charge us for Ellie's extra night's stay.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean room and good food. Not far from motorway. Free WiFi and parking. You would need to register your car inside hotel on the computer. Few pubs, restaurants and shops around.

I am usually working in the day time from this hotel and sometimes stay over and have been for the last 7 years. The hotel has gone from strength to strength and can always rely on helpful staff and cleanliness. Keep up the good work!!!!

Very handy location for client meetings and easy to find. Make sure you sign in your car @ reception and you won't fall foul of the parking fines! Staff were polite and left us to our own devices which was fine. Had our meeting with usual teas etc followed by lunch, which on the whole was very nice although their summer coleslaw disappointed us all! Good place for a meeting

My partner and I stayed at the hotel from Saturday to Sunday, just as a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of life and business. The hotel is quietly located on the edge of High Wycombe and close to the M4 (but not too close). The room was standard for this type of hotel, and one can navigate such rooms with eyes closed. We really appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities (quickly topped up at Reception), and the air-con was a splendid relief from the muggy weather conditions. The pool was pleasant if a little over-crowded with young children, but that was not unexpected. Room service was polite, prompt, and the food tasty and generous. Breakfast was the normal sort of buffet, but tasty and with lots of variety (sorry I ate so much water melon, which was up to the standard of a Mediterranean resort). Checkout was at 12.00, which was brilliant compared to usual hotel checkout time of 10.00. There was an issue of having to leave my mobile 'phone at reception to be charged (I forgot my charger), and it being left in the safe with no one having access to the key! There was an hour or so delay, but Charlie the young receptionist was utterly brilliant. Helpful, apologetic, and pleasant, and her assurances of getting the problem resolved were accurate. A great ambassador for the hotel. We'll go again.

Stayed here last night and have only good things to say. From the moment we walked through the day we were warmly welcomed. Ian was a friendly face at reception and when we mentioned the bedside lights weren’t working someone was sent straight down. Breakfast was a massive hit. So much variety from a wide range of cereals to a large spread of hot breakfast. The pastries were delicious and the range of hot and cold drinks were a hit. We had ate our fill and the staff quickly cleared away dirty dishes. The bedroom was really clean and the toiletries and soaps were of high standard. The chocolate was an added treat. The air conditioning was a bonus on a really hot night. We had it on all night so woke to a fresh cool room too. The room was very quiet so we all had a brilliant nights sleep. We slept in room 42 so must have been a back room. Would recommend this holiday inn to anyone

A business is only as good as those who work there, our experience at this hotel was notable for the friendly, kind and helpful service provided by the various members of staff we dealt with, from Ian on reception who changed two of our booked rooms to better suit our needs to Sharon in the breakfast room who helped put together a breakfast tray for two hungover young men who were still in bed @ 10:15 on a Saturday morning.

I have been visiting regularly to meet friends for tea or a drink for at least 15 years. My friend and I have received parking fines of £100 each as we didn’t know that they have recently brought in registrations at reception. We were not told when we paid for our drinks etc. I have appealed on the basis that we weren’t informed and also the fact that we were only there for just over one hour which is obvious from the times registered on the camera, what would we be there for if not using the bar???. I contacted the hotel to explain, they wouldn’t listen and now our appeals have been turned down. They have lost good customers as we will NEVER return.

I have frequently used this hotel for informal meetings. Last week I met a friend for a coffee and chat. I was unaware that parking policy had recently changed and my and my friends' registration number had to be recorded when I bought my coffee. I have now been slapped with £100 fine.

Be Aware - I attended a meeting at this hotel for 1.5hrs with a client who was a guest at the hotel. The signage regarding requirements to register your vehicle are limited and both myself and a colleague in another vehicle did not notice parking requirements. We both received parking fines and have had to pay £60 for 90 mins stay. I called the hotel to query parking restrictions and they were unhelpful.
