The room was old and dated not very clean there was a few things in the floor it appeared it had not been vacuumed. On the third day of my stay I returned to my room to find it had not been cleaned. I walked back downstairs and waited for an available team member she was very dismissive of me and asked if I asked for the room to be cleaned ? To which I replied no because it was cleaned the last two days and I was not told that was something I need to do. She said yeah with the length of my stay (5 days) I had to request that service. Then she started to walk away I stopped her and said well can I at least have some clean towels because the shower had leaked out water that morning so I had no towels. She went to the back for several minutes and came back with 4 towels and then asked if I needed trash bags I told her there were none and before I could finish my reply - that there have never been trash bags in my trash bags she went back to the back and handed me several trash bags. No I am sorry this is not normal no is there anything else just went on about her night.

I liked that the hotel was so close to 95. The lobby was clean and the registration process was efficient. The room was disappointing. Traces of mold around bathtub with bugs in the bathroom light fixture. Conditioner was ineffective on my hair. No body lotion supplied. Room was very quiet. No tea available in my room. Bed very comfortable. Free cookies delicious.

The staff, breakfast and booking were all amazing. And, there is nothing wrong with an older hotel. However, the rooms need to be updated. The wallpaper is yellowed and stained, the carpeting has stains and there are cracks everywhere. It's not dirty. But Marriot can CERTAINLY afford these sorts of upgrades.

I was also concerned to notice black mold and wet particles inside the heat/AC vent. Room was small and had a weird smell. Spotted a cockroach. Breakfast eggs and sausage were over by 8.45am and a little was replenished after a wait of more than 45 minutes. Waffle batter was over and no attempt to replenish it. It appeared to be just 1 person in the kitchen. Bad experience.
