Comfort Suites Kings Bay Naval Base Area

This Comfort inn is conveniently located close to the I95 Exit, but, can be tricky to find as it is located behind a Red Roof Inn. There are multiple restaurants in the area as well as a gas station close to the exit from the Inn. The lobby is large and bright, the staff warm, friendly and helpful. Our room, fitted with a king size bed was comfortable. We would make one suggestion, that is, the addition of small yogurt containers to the breakfast selections. For many traveling seniors who are diabetics, yogurt offers a great source of protein and helps them to avoid the consumption of carbohydrates which wreck havoc with their glucose blood levels. Dannon, Light and Fit is a good option. It is regularly available at Hampton Inns and would make a great addition to the breakfast buffet, for everyone, most especially for diabetics.

Hall rugs were deplorable. Dirt and stains everywhere. There was no luggage caddy. It took me 3 trips to get bags in room. Staff said they had one somewhere but we're not concerned about it. Would never stay there again

We were there to attend a ceremony at Kings Bay Naval Base. The property was clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again,

Breakfast very good especially the waffles Room nice and clean

The hotel was ascetically fine, there were spots on the carpet, but overall a non-discerning eye would not have huge issues. The bathroom, while appearing clean, carried an odor of musty /sweaty sourness. I did not try to discover the culprit of the smell given this is a hotel and I expect basic cleanliness, but it was enough to a make showering a bit uncomfortable.

Convenient to I-95 and near Jacksonville airport. Room condition was good. Only complaint was that there was food in the trash can when I entered the room and the sink drain was stopped up.

The staff was extremely friendly. From the warm chocolate chip cookies and the fresh coffee, the hotel exceeded my expectations. I will definitely recommend the hotel and stay there in the future.

I don't normally write comments on motels/hotels that I have stayed at but this one was so nice and confortble that I felt I had to comment.

Outstanding friendly staff.

We were there to visit St. Mary's and Cumberland Island. Just off Interstate 95 and only 10 minutes from St. Mary's, it was close to shopping and restaurants, too. The hotel was spotless; employees were friendly and helpful. Good complementary breakfast. There was a safe in the room which was large enough for my laptop and there was no cost for using it. Bed was VERY comfortable. Free coffee and cookies all day in the lobby. Loved the noon check-out time!

just perfect! modern & clean rooms, great beds, right off highway, great hot FREE bfast, warm & clean pool for kids....this was a perfect travel hotel for our family of 5! we stopped after driving for over 11 hours on our way to FL & it was worth every penny. we could relax & feel comfy in our suite.
