With a huge thunderstorm approaching, we spotted the hotel and stopped in to see if they had a room. Great front desk guy made sure Choice Privileges and AAA membership got us a crazy good rate. Room was very clean and comfortable. Thunderstorm knocked out power to the big Marathon Service Plaza next door, but not us. Lady at checkout was very nice. It was a great little place.
Easy on/off by interstate. Staff super nice. Room recently updated. Store, Popeyes, and Waffle house within walking distance to hotel. Wifi good, AC good. Small shampoo and lotion, no conditioner, small bar soap. Refrigerator and microwave, Flat screen TV, two servings to make in room coffee. Used hotel coupon for $44.00 for night but beware @28% added to cover state tax, total came to $56. Still reasonable for accommodations thought. The continental breakfast just that though, cold cereal, toast, instant oatmeal, coffee/tea. The juice was out. No butter for toast.
Spent one night on trip and this was a wonderful place to stay, nicer than many other higher price hotels and so clean and looked like new carpets and furniture. Nice restaurant within walking distance and quiet at night. This was a bargain for a wonderful product.
This hotel is decent; they have great pillows that we could buy.Thank for that because we have had a hard time finding and a hard trip since are car broke down and It's getting fixed. The General Manager Shiv R Parbhoo,Cha was helpful getting the tow truck to come here to not waste money going back to were are car had stopped. They are warm people. And don't forget the bed it's better than a lot of beds;good night rest is good when moving so yeah come here if you place to come.
Right off the HWY, easy check inn process, friendly staff. Peaceful and very quiet at night. Room was more then I expected, from the AC being top notch to bedding being comfortable... I recommend this property for anyone that is in the area and wants to be left to them selves...
I have had good and unpleasant stays at EconoLodges. Having never been in the area, we drove by, had a look, and booked it online. The price was main factor considering the other nearby options. I don't think we could have been more pleased. The A/C was REALLY Good for our room and the wireless was flawless. (It was way better than a higher priced room we paid for the night before.) The hotel seems to have been repainted in the last two years. The outside appearance was superb. The room itself was just great noting that some of the bathroom fixtures were original equipment. Great price, great comfort, and great stay. Note: The breakfast is bare bones, like most all econo lodges. Don't expect much and you will not be disappointed.
I travel a lot and stay in Kingsland once a week. The management at the Econo Lodge treats me like family. The rooms are very clean, they have flat screen TVs, micro fridges, with microwaves. The beds are very comfortable. The appearance of the outside always looks fresh. lots of places to eat near by. You cant go wrong with this place.
I chose this hotel because of the truck parking. Get there early. The spots fill up quick. I have stayed in three different rooms all were clean and nice. Many places to eat at this exit. I always go to Sonny's. Great place. The lady at the check in that works afternoons is great.
We stopped here to visit family nearby. The office staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and neat, even though it was a "pet-friendly" room. The only things about it is the one thing they can't control. We had chainsmokers outside next door for much of the night. We had difficulty entering without the smell. The front staff was notified, but didn't have much effect.
Clean rooms, great price and a good night's sleep. Close to I-95, gas and restaurants. Stayed on a Thursday night after the July 4th weekend. Quiet and cozy. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
