Well located hotel

We enjoyed a pleasant 2 night stay in the Hotel Ensor, it is extremely well positioned for all Bruges has to offer and only a 10 minute walk from the train station and in a quiet location. The hotel is a little tired and could do with some TLC but our room was warm and had a nice view of one of the canals. The owner is a charming man, very helpful and friendly.

Close to centre with lovely staff.

We were really pleased with our recent stay at The Hotel Ensor. The staff were very helpful, allowing us to enter our room early and park our car for free after check out. The breakfast was good quality with a range of choices, definitely a good way to start the day.

Great local hotel in quiet, charming Bruges

The hotel was clean and quiet in an amazing location. Quiet neighbourhood on a canal but less than 10 minute walk from the centre of Bruges. The hotel is in an old building and the rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple and good. The owner is very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage. Easy check in and check out procedure. The only improvement I could recommend is the shower head did not have a hook and you have to hold it up while you shower. Otherwise, very comfortable stay!

Central and very clean hotel

We had a short 4 night stay in Hotel Enso and it was just right. The staff were excellent and really looked after us. The breakfast was just right and the hotel was nice, however what really made our stay was its closeness to the city centre, so close to everything that you could nip back to hotel and drop of bags or shopping or have an afternoon coffee or tea and then head back out again. Absolutely brilliant and it was only ten minutes away from the train station. We really enjoyed our stay ar the hotel and when next in Bruges we will be staying here again.

Lovely friendly staff, arrived on New Year's Eve, saw us sneaking champagne up to our room and offered us some of their personal flutes! Fantastic location and gorgeous view, really good value!

Convenient & comfy

Warm & welcoming and located within just a few minutes walk of the centre - and you can vary your route to the Markt every time. Take a walk down the main shopping streets or wander via the back streets. All quite safe and often intriguing little courtyards or alleyways are revealed Underground parking (€8.50 per 24hrs) within 3 mins walk. The rooms are compact but comfy and ample for a weekend stay. Breakfast provides an opportunity to mingle with other guests and pick up some tips. the reception staff were very helful.

Nice location, close to the train station, quite.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ensor. Nice room over looking a canal. The owners Marc and Jan are super nice and help you with all your questions and needs. In the area of hotel check out Tom's Diner for lunch or dinner, you need a reservation. It's a really nice walk from the hotel along a back street canal, ask Jan the way. Look for a beautiful bead shop with great jewelry on the way (ask Jan for the card).

A great little hotel

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed Hotel Ensor. The service was excellent, very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was great and the room was huge! Very close to the centre and super easy to catch a bus to/from the train station.

Two-star older hotel, so luxury cannot be expected. Room is large but no room to put luggage conveniently. Also damp with marginal heating.

Hotel in close proximity to everything

This is a cheap and cheerful hotel. The room was large but old and the bed was small. The bathroom only had a bath with a handheld shower. Breakfast was quite good and you could walk anywhere easily. The owner was pleasant and helpful and the position of the hotel was nice and quiet.

Overlooking the canal and a really quiet street

This is a quirky little place - an independent hotel in a fairly old building - lots of character! Our room overlooked a beautiful canal and a really quiet road. It was a bit of a walk from the train station, but the walk was through a park, so no complaints there! Really close to a lovely plaza area with lots of restaurants, and a very walkable distance from the town center. The guy working the desk was extremely helpful, and the included breakfast was a nice surprise. Great way to start our day!

Ideal location, hotel itself not great. No parking

No parking on site, as was advertised on the site, either on street parking half a mile away or an expensive multi storey car park. The bathroom door was more like a curtain, which offered little privacy, and the shower was broken, and had very little water pressure. The location was great for sightseeing during the day, however at night it was quite loud from the bars down the street. The hotel did not replace the tea making kit (left dirty cups, didn't replace tea bags) and one of the twin beds had a lamp on the bedside table, but no plug socket, so it was unusable. Staff were friendly, and overall we enjoyed our trip, but glad we didn't spend too much time in the hotel.

Good Location

Stayed 3 days. Great walking location to sights in Bruges. Hotel is a bit old and worn. Parking is at paid city parking garage below bus plaza. Parking is expensive. Breakfast is free and adequate. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Hôtel très mignon, dans un cadre très sympa et calme à proximité d'un grand parking et du centre de Bruges. Par contre, pas très propre, même si le lit est refait chaque jour, c'est tout ce qui est fait. Ni la poussière, ni la salle de bain n'ont été nettoyé de tout notre séjour.

Hotel très sympathique et très accueillant, dans une rue calme à 10 minutes à pieds de la grand place de Bruges. Chambre très spacieuse et confortable. Jolie vue sur un canal. Petit déjeuner classique et agréable.

Greit hotell i rolig strøk utenfor sentrum. Gangavstand til alt du trenger og vil se i Brugge. Hotellet er ikke av beste standard men ok for et par netter. Noe slitte rom og bad. Frokosten er enkel men inneholder alt du trenger.
