"This place was a delightful surprise. The lobby was fun, comfortable and welcoming, the room was terrific and came equipped with a yoga mat and foam rollers, the beds were comfortable and the TV was large with lots of channels. Highly recommend."

"Pros:Amazing staff, aesthetically pleasing property very clean , from the lobby to the rooms. Each has its own individual modern decor. Quiet location. There’s a restaurant on the property. Also restaurants in walking distance; McDonald’s , two gas stations , Papa John’s, Wild Rice. I booked a studio King suite with Riverview. The room smelled amazing . The beds are firm , pillows are soft. There’s a mini-frig . The room is very spacious and the bathroom has a shower and bathtub. Amenities include: choice of 3 organic teas but the water bottles are priced at $3 , bath robe, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and , plenty of towels and washcloths. The slight noise from the train wasn’t a deal breaker it added context to the aesthetic of the property set in rustic foliage river valley . Now let’s get to the Cons: No microwave in room however there is a microwave in the lobby area. Also, there was water however I afore mentioned it was $3. It should be complementary for the stay, especially if you book a suite . There is a rooftop area with cabanas and lounge chairs you can access but the bar & music open only when there is an event. But & however, I do recommend you lodge here you will not be disappointed. Especially if you are searching for rest & relaxation."

French Country Estate-New Canaan CT-Pool-Film Set-some Aug-Sept availability

"This is a spacious, lovely home, renovated with great care so that the old French Country charm combines beautifully with modern kitchen and bathrooms. This was ideal for my large family, with plenty of beds and bathrooms to make 9 of us comfortable. We made good use of the heated pool, and the kids enjoyed plenty of room to run around outside. Linens and towels were provided, which made packing easy. There are several large spaces in the house, great for dining, playing, watching TV, etc. A playroom is stocked with books and toys that the kids loved. The house is in a quiet, pretty neighborhood. A cafe and tavern are an easy walk from the house. We enjoyed come nice meals in New Canaan, visited Grace Farm and the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. Gersende made us feel very welcome in her home, and was available by phone to help us out if we needed anything."
