We had a great stay in Brimley. Host was very accommodating allowing us a late check so we could stay to watch grandsons last hockey game on Sunday.

Cute Couple's Getaway
Absolutely beautiful location on Lake Superior!! Easy access path to the sandy beach alongside owner's home. Watch sunsets & freighters pass. Take shoreline walks. Pet friendly. Hostess is onsite, welcoming, & went above & beyond by fulfilling our request for a lower-level recliner by providing not just one recliner but a pair that swiveled. and rocked. They made our stay comfortable. A few things to consider: 1. The only bathroom is on the lower level. The shower has no interior handrail for those who may need one, and no tub. 2.The only interior view of Lake Superior is from the second level. 3. All faucet hot/cold handles are counterintuitive. 4.The kitchen has a mini-frig with tiny top freezer, and no stove/oven. Basic small appliances were available, such as crockpot, hotplate et al... 5.There is one television upstairs, none down. 6.We didn't see any available videos or games, such as cards or board games for rainy, windy days. 7.The high-boy style dining table accommodated two, but I'm sure the hostess would provide more seating if asked. It would be tight quarters, however. 8 There were adequate nightlights everywhere to prevent stumbling in the dark to the bath. 9.The site was newly remodeled, fresh and clean with adorable "Moose" theme design touches. 10. Well-water. All-in-all, a cute couple's getaway! Quiet. Relaxing.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary trip! I’m so happy we picked the Rustic Moose. The cabin and property were stunning. The lake views and beach were breathtaking. It was awesome to be able to have a fire on the beach. The hosts we’re accommodating and amazing! We plan on coming back here in the future!

Blissful escape
We needed a getaway and this was perfect for us. Such a peaceful, restful cabin. The shoreline goes on forever it seems. Whitefish Bay's water wasn't too cold yet, but there's lots of stones along the water line, so wear your water shoes. We made a trip to Paradise and saw the Shipwreck Museum out at Whitefish Point. there's so much to see and do in the area, you could spend weeks taking it all in.

A gem along the sandy shores of Lake Superior
My husband and I stayed 2 nights and lived the decor, views of the lake from the upstairs living space, cute path to the beach. We watched freighters go by, strolled the beach which was quiet and beautiful. Location is perfect for a peaceful getaway and host was very responsive.

Super-responsive hosts
This is a cozy place, and there's just one sleeping area with several beds. It's comfortable and quiet. Just a microwave for cooking and a very small fridge, so plan accordingly!
The location was perfect for us and Lake Superior was warm and calm and beautiful. I loved sitting and watching the freighters. Make sure to get yourself to the Sugar Daddy bakery, recommended by our host and worth the trip!
