The desk clerk at check in was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom looked clean upon entry. Plenty of towels. Heat/AC was just right. However, there were long human hairs on the bottom sheets of both beds. The caulking around the outside bottom of the tub had what appeared to be mold in it. And the refrigerator made an annoying humming sound.

For an inexpensive hotel it was a very pleasant surprise. Nothing fancy but everything was clean and homey. The staff was extremely friendly too. We had a great experience with the Mountaineer Inn.

Very clean room and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Rooms are a little out dated but that made no difference to me . Parking lot was also able to accommodate truck and trailer.

This was not a good value for the money. No cart is provided for carrying luggage. There was missing tile in the bathroom. The breakfast was terrible. There was no phone service available.
