Residence Inn by Marriott Branson

We are Marriott Rewards members and truly appreciate the remarkably consistent corporate integrity of Marriott hotels. We especially like the Residence Inn brand because of the small apartment concept with separate living room (with sofa bed), kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It's especially convenient when traveling on business to have a full sized refrigerator, stove and fully equipped kitchen for healthy food. In addition, unlike Courtyard (which I don't care for at all), Residence Inn offers a full hot breakfast every morning with offerings of oatmeal, various breads/cereals, fresh fruit, meat, scrambled eggs, waffles, and decent coffee all day long. The recently completed remodel at Branson has a fresh/contemporary updated look. The beds and pillows are extremely CLEAN and comfortable, like all other Marriott properties, with high quality cotton sheets and bed linens in signature white. There are many windows in the bedroom and living room with a nice view of the surrounding mountains unless you have a room at the front of the hotel facing the parking lot. The front desk and housekeeping staff were so gracious to us throughout our 4 night stay. The location of this property is a little off the beaten track, but much quieter than hotels located on the main drag ~ which is worth a better nights sleep. The area appeared safe and there is also an indoor pool and hot tub. We enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I stayed there on a little getaway, the room was fantastic! Big comfortable bed! TV in both rooms of the suite, full size frig, stove, sink, and cooking utensils. Great location just off the Branson Strip. Loved it!

I absolutely love this newly renovated Residence Inn by Marriott. Typical Residence Inn room layout, lots of space, everything worked in room. Bed was one of the most comfortable ever. Our housekeeping lady couldn't be more helpful. I appreciate her being not only nice, but also professional. Hotel is close to everything, yet is in a quiet location. I am rating our stay at two stars due to two negatives 1) lack of professionalism from some employees. We were addressed as "hun" in place of proper sir/mam by a few employees throughout our stay (Lisa at breakfast... just to give you one example) Lady managing Monday night reception was "over the top" She got there and started explaining to us why she's late, talking about her life, her circumstances, her two year old. I am okay with her being late, I just don't need to hear all that stuff and don't need to be asked personal questions either. Another problem is the indoor "hot" tub. It was luke warm. The water coming out of the jets was cold. We would stay here again despite the "hot" tub and despite some staff lacking professionalism as I really love the accommodations and the level of comfort. Just can't give higher rating unless I see the issues I mentioned being addressed.

Overall the interior of the hotel looked good with the recent updates including my room and the public areas. I would not give the night front desk staff high marks though. I was on the third floor and on the second night could not get to sleep because of loud noises coming from a congregation of people in the parking lot at the back of the hotel. I attempted to call the front desk several times between 11pm and 1am and nobody picked up. Finally I went down to the lobby in person and the young lady was sitting there eating chips looking at something on her smartphone. She seemed to be aware of the issue already and as we were talking the front desk phone rang and she answered it...apparently another guest with the same complaint as mine. I first heard the noises around 10pm so I'm perplexed why something had not been done about it earlier. She did go out and talk to the people making the noise but did seem put out that she was being asked to do it instead of me when I told her that I thought of confronting them myself but decided that was probably not the best idea and that it was better that hotel staff do it. Maybe the hotel should consider having a security guard at night to handle these situations

Forget any review you've seen less than 3 stars. This place has been updated and it's VERY Nice! The rooms are large with very nice furnishings and a larger TV screen. The full hot breakfast was very nice as well. Parking was adequate, location is good and the staff was awesome. The shower doors were a little weird but I understand that they're correcting that. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are very nice and updated. One of the lights in our rooms was not hooked up properly so that needs to be fixed. Also, there needs to be some training for customer service on interaction with customers. I understand that the hotels in Branson deal with thousands of customers a year but, that is no reason to be rude, as was the woman who worked the breakfast bar. I understand she could have had some issues and some things might have been new and she was busy but, if that was the case the front desk was over staffed so have some of them could have came and helped her. The housekeeping staff was working very hard to keep the hotel clean and they were very nice.

I am a loyal Marriott member and I found the hotel to be ok, not the greatest and certainly not the worst. Could have been better. Front desk, check in was quick and efficient, but I did note that the young lady that was there in the evenings seldom even looked up from her phone and ear buds when someone entered or left the facility. Room, was maintained very well. Have to definitely say that they did not thin out the problems with their shower stall renovations. If you take a shower {only option} you end up soaking the bathroom floor near the stool because there is only one half glass panel, so anything that goes to the back of the shower goes out onto the floor. This has to be a disaster on the housekeeping people, and certainly is an accident waiting to happen since the floor is the typical tile. Little bit of water and someone it going to go down quickly and painfully if they are not careful. So the bathroom renovation was not well thought out. The location is decent, just between 76 and the yellow route. Parking leaves a bit to be desired as there is not that much, but this is more the fault of who purchased the property originally.

I am a loyal Marriott customer, I generally go out of my way and spend more to stay at Marriott properties. This hotel was disappointing to say the least. Rooms were ok but don't count on housekeeping, stayed for a week and only had my room cleaned twice, staff was not helpful or friendly and seemed to always be on break. When I asked about getting my room cleaned, the staff was rude and told me it was my problem they leave at 5 and that I need to let them know when I leave the room every morning if I want service. While the property was undergoing renovations the exterior is dirty, smells and unkept. I will not stay at another residence inn. I would recommend any hilton properties in this area

Marriott needs to send in team to train staff. They cancelled my family reservation and basically said 'that sucks'. In a town with many choices, recommend you stay anywhere else. Left sour taste for marriott for me. Absolute crap hotel.

While this property is undergoing renovation it still was not up to my standards. The outdoor grill area was dirty, cigarette butts, rusted out bbq grill that had not be cleaned seemingly forever. The fire pit had been rigged with loose limestone and certainly a fire code violation waiting to happen. My room had been recently remodeled but I can only echo what others have said about the weird shower door, or lack of. Housekeeping has an increased workload with all the soggy towels used to clean up the water running out from the open shower. Black mold was already beginning to show from the wet wall paper. On the property there is debris and construction materials all over the place.
