We stayed over the Fourth of July and were amazed that most of the time we were able to avoid the high holiday traffic due to the location of this condo. We received a map when we picked up our show tickets from Bigfoot fun park (be prepared for high pressure to go to a timeshare presentation, though). The map gave us backroads to get to various places. This condo is far enough away from the busy green route to allow you to avoid this crazy traffic.
The view from the back deck was so peaceful- the pictures do not do it justice. We rented a boat from the marina and enjoyed a peaceful morning on the water. It is such an interesting thing that while it was over 90 degrees on land, it was cool on the water- seriously! We didn’t fish, but heard it’s really good trout fishing down there!
The condo itself was a good size for my husband and me. The bed was comfortable and a fan was provided which was wonderful to have for those of us who run hot at night. While this is something the host can not control, this is something some guests might want to be warned about: we could hear the people upstairs morning and evenings rolling around (not sure what was going on). We weren’t there in the afternoons, but I’d guess the noise could be heard then too. It wasn’t too bothersome to us because we were hardly at the condo, but for those looking for quiet, this might bother you.
We had a lovely stay and would certainly love to stay here again when we come back.
