Holiday Inn Express Boulder

Fine for work, good location, rooms as expected. Easy walk to restaurants and coffee, car or bike to get to downtown.

good location and clean. Across from the Mens homeless shelter but we had zero issues. Cute itlaian cafe across the street for breakfast

We had a very good stay at this hotel. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Our room had a balcony, facing west - and we could see a bit of the mountains. Refrigerator and microwave were most useful. Coffee in lobby 24/7 and in the room as well. The personnel were friendly and helpful. Bike rental right in the hotel! Breakfast was plentiful and included in the room fee.

The room is what you'd expect except for an odd sour/moldy smell. We had to run the AC to minimize that.

fantastic place to stay. very good breakfast, room is very nice.

Just an ordinary stay. Basically what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express.

Convenient for travel into foothills around Boulder Good food within walking distance; however choices limited as to type Inability to open 3rd floor window a drawback Microwave/refridgerator unit produced ticking sound, only discontinued when unit unplugged

Staff was friendly and willing to help answer questions about local fare. It was nice to wake up and have a good breakfast waiting for you. Good choice of food selection. Lowered score on room cleanliness because we discovered a used (maybe washed) nose breathing strip in our linen.

Everything about the hotel was great with the exception of it being 10 min. from downtown Boulder.

Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was very full. The room was clean. Shower/tub had hair from previous occupant. Great breakfast, fresh popcorn, and cookies in the afternoon. The AC worked great. There are great places to eat within walking distance. I would stay here again.

My partner and I spent the weekend in Boulder for a mini vacation. We found the staff at the hotel just fantastic. Although the overall presentation of the hotel is great, the furniture in the room needed upgraded. In particular, the bed felt old and a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast, although basic is provided by a gracious staff and presented in a well maintained area. The hotel is located at the north end of the city line a ten minute drive to downtown. If you plan on traveling to the northern cities and parks, this is a great location. Overall, the hotel offers a great value for basic comfort.

Great place to stay, comfortable clean rooms. Great staff. Good breakfast.

We had come from an extended family gathering at a run down low budget hotel in Denver, so this was a refreshing change. We had a two room suite, which was great for children who have trouble getting to sleep. The room was spacious and the amenities were of decent quality. Check in was quick and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. The hotel is within Boulder city limits, but it is definitely a drive into downtown. The rate we paid was a bit high compared to other similar sided rooms we've stayed in in Colorado, and I'd question whether it is "cheaper enough" than the downtown offerings to merit not staying within walking distance. If you can get a good rate, go for it, but check downtown, too.

nothing wrong with the hotel, just nothing that would make us want to come back. we were given a handicap room for some reason and if I was handicapped I would be upset at how little counter space there is in the bathroom!!! That was a real problem.

Hotel was great

The room was spacious and clean It had every amenity.the breakfast was ecellent. wish every hotel we stayed at was this nice.

The location is on the north end of town ... a little off the beaten path. It was about a $10-$12 cab ride to Pearl Street. The hotel is starting to show a little age, but it was generally clean and the staff helpful. They offer a free breakfast each morning and free WiFi. Not a luxurious as the St. Julien or the Boulderado, but not nearly as expensive either. Overall, a good value.
