Unique decor. Fun mountain feel. Staff were super friendly. Great service.

Our overall experience was good. The hotel is in a good location but amenities are limited. The hotel itself is a bit dated and not well insulated, you can hear the people upstairs moving around. But despite that I think I would stay there again.

Great decor and details. The lighting in the rooms could be better (bedside lamps should be able to be directed towards the bed).

its adventure / outdoorish style. different, the rooms are comfortable and great.

Very unique place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Very cute room decor and vibe. Excellent location for accessing downtown.

Comfortable beds, very clean room, and cute, camping-themed decor made Basecamp a wonderful place to stay. A couple cons: - No mini fridge in the room, so had to throw away leftovers. - Walls and doors are pretty thin - could hear neighbors' TVs and people stomping up the stairs outside.

Location was good, room with 2 beds was large, beds were large plus a powder room with 2 sinks. bathroom fan was super loud, should have it's own switch! overall an A.

Was excited to stay based on arrivals about the concept but ultimately it ended up being an old motel with a very light camping theme. Bathrooms are tiny and felt kinda like a dive motel. Common areas were better although you do sleep in the room. Really felt the property was over hyped from a marketing perspective.

Nice hotel with friendly staff; good beer selection and smoothies; convenient location!

Base Camp is very hipster, with adorable rooms. It is however a remodeled moter Inn and I found some remnants of the old around, especially in the bath/toilet. They should replace bathroom doors etc. The shade in my room was broken and wouldn't go up or down and they said they would fix it but it didn't happen during my stay. Great design, very comfortable and user friendly, nice lounge where I got a very good cappuccino each morning. Laundry on site which is nice (you need quarters and they can't provide change btw) and I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I thought this hotel was decent but the biggest issue we had was that the price didn't seem to correspond to the quality. Boulder is certainly expensive but if this hotel were in almost any other town, you'd expect to pay $80-90. We thought it was fairly clear that they took a cheap hotel and gave it a "base camp" theme (e.g. some random camping props in the rooms) to justify its rustic qualities. We also felt bad for the cleaning staff because they seemed under-staffed and over-worked. We saw them cleaning rooms well into the evening. To mention some pros, location is great, bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. One suggestion would be, in addition to having coffee in the lobby, for the price it wouldn't hurt to offer something minimal for breakfast, maybe granola bars to go along with the cheap base camp theme.

Picked Basecamp Boulder based on location and price. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Pearl street. There is so much to do in Boulder that ultimately Basecamp was our Basecamp for sleeping. Overall, great location for the price and we would stay again.
