Quiet, yet accessible to the mall and theater.

Always nice to return to Boulder and the University Inn... with the best location in town... between the Hill and Downtown.

We stayed here for one night before flying out the next day and thought it was easy, wonderfully located (mere blocks away from both Pearl St Mall and the university), and clean, delivering just what they promised.

Overall a great place to stay. The sofa sleeper mattresses could be replaced.

Very conveniently located in Boulder. Nice views from the back. Very helpful staff.

As written before, this is an older building--motel style (not hotel). The interiors were updated, clean and well maintained. Although the door faced the street, the room was much quieter than many hotel rooms I've stayed in. In fact, we barely heard the doors of other rooms opening and closing. As an older building, they rely on an in-wall air-conditioning unit. It is loud, but I didn't mind the extra white noise. The staff, including housekeeping, was always friendly. It should be noted that they only clean rooms when requested since covid. They also no longer offer breakfast either for the same reason. There is a fair amount of parking in the front of the building, but not enough spaces for every room. But they also had parking in the back which was more than ample. The immediate area is not particularly inspiring. The grocery across the street is closed. There is a green pharmacy and a take out restaurant nearby. But just a short walk takes you to the University area. A slightly longer walk the other direction takes you to Pearl Street which is the happening spot in Boulder full of restaurants, stores and nightlife. The Inn is also very close to the bandshell/park/bikepath/creek. And there is a farmer's market, a small contemporary museum, and Duchambe Tea House right in that vicinity. In this regard, it's a great location. Just about everything is walkable.

great location

Room smelled. Walls thin (woken up by people next door watching tv) and value vs price ($200) is way way off....

It is a nice motel but it remains a motel in the end

The rooms are a bit small for more than 2 people but they are clean and updated. Easy walk to local restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay here again.

You can't beat the location, we walked to the farmer's market and to town. It's a simple hotel, but they have done a really nice job of updating and modernizing the rooms. Nice white comforter and sheets, very clean and comfortable. It's nicer than it looks in the photos.

Well kept motor lodge with clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast is lame but not insultingly so.

Great place to stay while visiting Boulder. Walkable to everything. It is an 'old school' motor lodge in which all the rooms wrap around the central parking and entries are outside, so it can get a little noisy w/ traffic. Other than that small issue, the University Inn is wonderful. The interiors are completely modern with a huge bathroom, delightfully comfy beds, free wifi, amenities provided. They serve a very simple breakfast, but have plenty of coffee. There is a wonderful grocery store across the street if you need extra snacks and the Inn provides a microwave and fridge in room. We will definitely stay there again!

I stayed three nights. The room was clean and the location was great. However, the free breakfast was not great. The worst aspect of the visit is that the motel faces Broadway, a busy street with lots of bus traffic. The noise starts around 6 AM, so unless you plan to get up that early, it isn't great. Also, at night, noisy college students are walking up and down the same street which connects the campus to downtown. For the value and convenience, I can put up with the noise.

I have driven by the Boulder University for years. I knew it was an older hotel near the University with doors that open directly to the outside. What I didn't know was that the interior has been completely remodeled until I read the reviews. My room was nice, clean and contemporary. The lady at the front desk when I checked in was friendly and helpful. I am still not crazy about doors that open to the outside. I would stay here again when I need an overnight hotel for work.

Clean, comfortable beds. Convenient location. Nice bathroom, well stocked.

We had a pleasant stay. It was very centrally located, even a grocery store across the street. We enjoyed walking to the farmers market as well.

I was in Boulder for a doctor's appointment. The staff was friendly & recommended restaurants and gave me a free map. Since I was by myself, I was a little uncomfortable with only one door between me & a busy street in a strange town.
